We have felt nurtured here, we have been nourished here. The love you have poured into this place has not been lost on us - we have felt it! We have felt it as we have eaten your bread and eggs so kindly given. We have soaked it in with the sunshine on the verandah and the water in the bath. The stars have put us in our place. We have loved what we have learnt here - about ourselves and the land. The birds have been our constant companions throughout the day ( and most likely) at night as we lay sleeping. Thank you for providing this learning, nourishing space. Thank you for wanting to. Every good thing to you.

Lovely stay here! Beautiful clean accomodation with access to everything you need. The owners provide you with helpful instructions on maintaining the fireplace and have the cupboard fully stocked with all the necessities. The outdoor bath was a highlight and definitely added a layer of luxury to this stay, very unique and an experience I don think I’ll get again. Beautiful views

Wow, this place is breathtaking! With beautiful 360 degree views, floor to ceiling windows, well designed interiors and a huge outdoor bath, it made for a perfect three night stay. Louise was a wonderful host and we loved the tour of the farm. Spotting an echidna just outside the hut on our first night was definitely a highlight! What an absolutely perfect spot to unwind and relax (even with the kids!). We hope to be back!

We loved our stay at Kestrel Nest and hope to return some day. It was great to disconnect from our devices and be immersed in nature. We can't remember the last time we saw so many stars. The farm tour was special so we recommend future guests take advantage!

Honestly the best weekend getaway I have ever experienced! The location was stunning, the hut has been extremely well built with careful planning of the environment. Louise and David were very knowledgeable about the area and their thoughtfulness for anticipating a guest’s every need is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the stocked kitchen implements and pantry items were above and beyond, the fresh eggs and freshly (still warm) bread were next level and having a bath on the verandah looking out on the stunning view was simply amazing!!!

Last time we stayed here Nick and I were newly engaged. Today we're here celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Kestrel Nest has become part of our journey. It is the perfect place to shut off, wind down and reminisce on the first year of our lives together as husband and wife. Being here is a breath of fresh air. We've loved having cuppas on the porch. aimlessly wandering and snuggling by the fire. You can feel the love that has been poured into here. We will be back soon. I cannot recommend them enough.

Myself and 3 friends decided to go in a girls trip away and was the most breathtaking experience. The booking process and owners were so welcoming leading to the stay with everything you could possibly need available for us in the hut. ( with the most amazing chessboard waiting for us)With our phones off, fire on and soaking in the most amazing bath, we really got to take in the breathtaking environment and relax, I wish I booked for longer!10/10 would recommend to family’s, friends and/or couples!

Louise and David have created a little spot of paradise for you to forcibly unplug (no reception) and just appreciate life. The beautiful thing about staying here is that you don’t have to appreciate life without any of its luxuries. The kestrel nest is your home away from home, that has everything you could think of, and want. Comfortable beds, lovely linen, soft towels, leather lounges, kitchen provisions and all the creature comforts. The best part, it’s all self-sustainable and off-grid. It shows you that you don’t have to miss out when looking after our planet.While it speaks to a romantic hideaway, it’s actually amazing for families, like us, to spend some quality time. Our toddler enjoyed every minute of bug spotting, bird spotting, and animal spotting, not to mention having a bath outside, that we could all fit in!We are foodies and the produce from the farm and the area were delightful and waking up to kookaburras every morning is my heaven.We also enjoyed a farm tour; the efforts that Louise and David have gone to, to farm ecologically and look after the land that is providing for them, is inspiring.We look forward to another visit to this slice of paradise within the year. Beautiful place - luxury and eco friendly with views to die for! Really enjoyed our time here and wished it could be longer. So restful relaxing in the beautiful bath, lazing in the hammocks and walking around the property. So many thoughtful touches to make the stay extra special. The homemade bread was delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Communication was easy and we really enjoyed staying somewhere so special. Thank you
