Mikes Panel & Paint Repairs

Had to deal with a typically aggressive and domineering elderly Woman on Reception. Aggressive and Dominant to the point you know you can't trust her (and thereby the Company). Wasted my time there, couldn't be bothered arguing or trying to explain myself too much. I now know who to avoid in the future. Alarm bells ringing.

26/06/2023. I would like to give the biggest shout out for All the staff at mikes panel n paint smash repairs. I was absolutely devastated when my little car was injured in a smash but was very happy when I was sent to mikes panel n paint. They looked after me and my car and listened to my woeful story about the accident. I picked my car up on 26/06/2023 and was very happy with the repair work. AND EVERYTHING WORKS LIKE NEW AND LOOKS LIKE NEW. my little car is restored. Thank you so very much for a wonderful job.Cheryl Hopkins. Gladstone.

This review is slightly late, however in light of the extremely unfair and let's face it disrespectful comments below, I feel compelled to review my own experience.I have only very positive things to say about this car repair business. I have a very high end European car and Mikes Panel and Paint were recommended to be by BMW in Brisbane as their repairer of choice in Gladstone. They also has the best rating by Suncorp, my insurer. To say I was happy with the outcome would be the understatement of the century. Sandy and the team absolutely went above and beyond any expectations I had in terms of customer service. We live in Central Qld, some 200kms from Gladstone, so it was not as simple as just popping around in my lunch break, From the initial contact, visiting the workshop for a quote, dropping off the car through to collecting it, I was updated regularly, given advise and assistance and treated as a guest rather than just another punter.When I collected the car, I had to do some tricky logistics to swap cars around and Sandy was kind enough to come in on her own time to open up so I could get my car and what's more drove me in her own car to help me swap vehicles.After this fantastic experience, I didn't hesitate in selecting Mikes Panel and Paint to do repairs on my wife's car, which my insurer was only too pleased to arrange. Once again the service has been faultless.I guess the key take away from my experiences with Mikes Panel and Paint is that arrangements have been made by insurance companies, that's whet we pay our premiums for and why we have insurance... The interactions between the insurers, the repairs and the guests" is completely seamless as one would expect. It is completely understandable that there are delays as there are with all trades and services in the past couple of years.I can't imagine trying to arrange a repair without the assistance and the internal workings between an insurance company and the repairer

Went for an insurance claim quote.Waited a couple of weeks for an appointment for this.Quote Went smoothly. Staff were pleasant and warm.

The service was excellent. The staff were always updating me and the car looks amazing.

Repairs took longer cause they ordered wrong part then they finished my car on a Friday didn’t bother to tell me that they close at 1:30 on Fridays and locked my car in their yard without even calling me to let me know it was done or ask what I wanted done with it so had no car or transport for the weekend and they were told more than once I needed it back by Friday afternoon for travel on Saturday!!! Disgusting and Suncorp insurance force you to take your cars to this place :-(
