STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!No help from Shelley (the owner) when the farmer didn't pay me. She just kept telling me that she will send email to the farmer which never happened. After I left I tried to contact her multiple times without answer. Finally after I changed my number to private she answered and she was angry to me for calling from a private number. Once again she promised to contact the farmer but she clearly didn't.No wonder people go crazy there.

Worst place ever. The one star is just because I met lovely people there. The owner (Shelly) just wants your money and doesn't really care about you.She even forgot the names of people who stayed there over months. She will kick you out for nothing and the waiting list is a joke.Seriously, don't go there and give this woman any money. It's not worth it, I'm glad that I left after more than a month without any real work.

Sorry to say, this hostel is not good. There are quite a number of hostels in the area across 2 towns but this one is pretty bad. Each year it seems to house the worst of the worst. The visitors in this place are usually the ones behind trouble and brawls at the drinking houses in the early hours. They seem to thrive on the reputation of being the loudest and the drunkest. Honestly you’d think after the murder there a few years ago that they’d try to tame things down but they don’t. It seems especially risky for women because of the alcohol abuse. It’s a shame because the other hostels all control their visitors But this lot give everyone a really bad name.

Stayed there for a month and only got 3 days of work. Shelley, the manager, promises she’ll find farm work for you but in the end you’ll only work enough to pay her rent. Not recommended at all!

IT’S A SCAM, THE OWNER IS A THIEF, GO AWAY !!The people in this hostel and the manager make my stay really nice but the owner of this hostel, Shelley is thinking about her own money. She told you that you will work 50 hours per week, and finally you just have enough money to pay your rent and give her money back. She doesn’t care about you, and all the backpackers who come here to work. I stayed more than 1 month waiting for a “real” job, and working just twice by week, for 300 bucks and 200 for her. And even if you don’t have a job she lets you pay the full price for getting a bedroom in a kitchen, and where the door never closed.IT’S A SCAM, THE OWNER IS A THIEF, GO AWAY !

Nice clean hostel, with different areas to relax when not working, there is a TV and games room with a smart tv. There is a bar with a pool table and a dart board. The area is nice and quiet. If you research the sessions correctly there is plenty of work, especially for boys. Jobs for girls as well! If you want a clean working hostel this is the place
