APPALLING....As an Indian, I was highly embarrassed today with my experience at Desi Dhaba. I attended the venue with my family and with a couple of close friends(Australians).We ordered our dishes of which a couple of them were mild and a couple were medium in relation to the spice levels.When the food came out, those dishes that were meant to be mild were actually spicier than the medium dishes.I spoke with the Manager at the time advising her that this was not mild. Next thing that happened. I could not believe what came out of her mouth. Whilst looking at my Australian friends, she turned to me and said, we cannot accommodate TO THEIR kind of mild". Our friends were highly offended as they were no strangers to Indian cuisine.I really could not believe what I was hearing.We approached the Manager at the end of our visit

Sitting in desi dhaba right now. Just been served seekh kebab which was uncooked at the middle. Not much of an apology from management. Just been told the tandoor girl has been made aware of it . A shame since last time we had really enjoyed our meal here

On weekends absolutely yummy food. On weekdays not really. No quality food like not much of a meat in goat curry on weekdays.Took our guest to this restaurant on weekdays coz we love visiting this place almost every month but disappointed couple of times because sometimes they only serve you some curries especially goat curry with more bones and just fats. Not even a single piece was there a meat. Our guest also left disappointed for couple of times.

Started off well but like many Indian restaurants quality of food and service came crashing down after a few months. Very poor management. You can easily see that the food is stale and only heated up when you order.

Excellent food, customer service, hygienic and the ambiance was very comforting. These guys are just starting out, however they strive to provide the best. Will definitely be dining in or getting take-away. Keep up the good work.

Love the atmosphere of this place, decor is a nice nod to indian cinema. Food is delicious and really affordable. We did the lunch special for around 17 bucks and it came with a choice of one curry, two rotis/naan OR one roti/naan and rice. The meal was well presented and very filling, we had to take half of it home with us to enjoy later. Only thing was that our waitress took a bit of time to come to the table but she was friendly and polite so no issue. Will definitely come back again.

Had take away as well as dine it at Craigieburn restaurant..Great food but room for improvement, friendly staff and ambience is really good and clean. Tried the city branch previously and food quality is great there.. will expect the same quality here in future.

We went as a family and waited for more than an hour after ordering our food. When we ask them they said it is coming soon, but they still delayed it, making excuses. While other extended families came after us and were getting their orders first and we still waited around maybe our order is smaller that was the reason. After all this, we speak to a manager and he said I can take it out for free, he tried to convince us to have free food and still, we waited but no food comes. Such a bad dine-in service. OWNER needs to review dining service and show some respect to the customers. Never ever going to this restaurant again. Not even recommend it to any family member, relatives or friends. Such a disgusting service. In addition to this, I wonder how many 5-star reviews were posted by staff, owner family, friends or relatives. Completely blind fake reviews.

I had the best experience at Desi Dhaba, food was amazing and yummy, delicious ever. Everyone must try saag, it was the best, food quality and quantity was perfect. No complain. Kids friendly environment. Staff was very polite and friendly, food service was quick than expected.Everyone must go there, give a try, you will never regret.Highly recommended. Value of money.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ị ordered tandoori soya chaap and this is how it looks raw and tasteless and i cant eat even a single piece. the soup has no taste. I spend $50 nd its totally Wastage of money .
