Wei Kee Chinese Restaurant
Great Cantonese food. Very authentic experience, right down to the lack of customer service.

Went there for lunch on a Sunday and it was not busy. Ordered one of the set menu and felt the food was just average and it wasn’t that cheap. The restaurant is very small and service is lacking.

Good food, good price and large portions. Not a good service. It seems to be common for customers get their own tea, sources etc.. You are expecting to wait about 1/2 hr to 45mins to be served.

Hidden gem. No frills on the deco and service. Good food! Good value! Great place for people who want good Cantonese food without the restaurant service mark-ups. Good proportions and they never skimp on the vegetables either.Go to for me are live lobster and the congee (lunch only)Reminds me of the good hidden places you'd need to be a local to go find in HK. The type you don't go there for the service (and you won't expect it at this price point), but just regular food cooked well and with good value.Service is slow sometimes - it is a family run business with 1-2 in the kitchen, so you do get 1.5h waits during peak. If you don't want to wait, I'd recommend going as soon as they open, or ordering takeaway in advance.Get your orders in when you arrive! I've seen people who get a table, take another half an hour to order...by then later arriving tables have ordered already. Those seem to be the ones who get annoyed about the long wait and having to join the end of the queue.Owners are nice people. Unlike what some of the other reviews said, I don't think they prioritise when your food comes out based on how much you've ordered. I've ordered just congee and noodles, and my order came out before the large table of 12 who ordered seafood since my order was first.

Amazing experience! A great place to go to when you want to catch up with friends and not very hungry. It is a help yourself and set your own table and wait until the lady comes to take your order when she is finished helping in the kitchen, restaurant. Be prepared to be patient. Their set menu for 3 or more diners are very popular, from live fish, Lobster and mud crabs. There was only the two of us so we ordered off the menu. This amazing tiny restaurant seats < 30 only, has one chef and an assistant who cooks and doubles waiting on tables. Yet has very loyal customers who are prepared to wait. It also has a busy takeaway clientele... that's for those who are not prepared to sit and wait but come around at appointed time to collect. We waited an hour for our noodle lunch. The serving is large, some, massive!

Small family owned restaurant with good prices and massive portions. Although a little squashy inside the food was very good. they had cracker lobster which was fresh, salt and pepper spare ribs and sweet and sour pork was very good as well!I highly recommend. support your local small business!

No frills Cantonese restaurant with everything made to order. Portions are HUGE so it’s better to share.Have yet to try their dinner offerings but looks promising from the menu.

This little restaurant is unassuming, however they serve good foods in great portions! They serve Cantonese food & their specialty is seafood, however their pork dishes were so tasty! This restaurant is managed by a husband-wife team, so please be mindful that service/food might could be a little slow especially during busy period. Seatings are cramped, hence you may want to get it for takeaway instead (if you don’t like cramped seatings).

Have been to this restaurant since they opened. The food is always fresh, fantastic and authentic, just like home cooking and the portion is incredibly huge. It's a long wait for your food because they have a really small kitchen. It's EXCELLENT VALUE for money. Their portion is very large, at least one and a half size to double compared to other restaurant. There isn't alot of service and it's very noisy because it's a very small restaurant with a small kitchen so maximum, the kitchen can hold 3 people. If you want service and peace and quiet, and dont wait for your food, this restaurant is not for you then look at take away. When it is busy, expect wait time, minimum 1 hour.Simply put, people go there because the food taste really fresh, low on MSG, HUGE portion on most dishes,, excellent value for money.
