Tried to call to book an appointment and the reception staff member who answered was very dismissive and tried to send me elsewhere before I even had a chance to explain my situation. Normally the staff have been great and I understand how busy they are but it was a very unpleasant experience at an extremely stressful time.

The renewed staff at the reception are all very pleasant and helpful especially Sue. Docteur Christopher Ayres is a godsend! My husband and myself appreciate him very much for his knowledge and caring manner.

Good local medical centre undergoing a revamp. Lots of doctors so you should be able to see someone on the day. Has online booking system which is fabulous. Has a nurse part-time which can be cheaper than seeing a doctor. This surgery does not bulk bill.

Although reception staff were absolutely lovely, the Dr i saw was dismissive and a little condescending. overall not a great interaction and wont be going back.definitely a waste of both time and money.

My whole family has been coming to Waramanga medical centre since I was a child. Not once have I been told I could buy ventolin over the counter at any pharmacy. I had an asthma episode last month and ran out of ventolin. I called up and explained my situation; I was told I couldn't yet a script because I hadnt been for a few months, and couldn't get an appointment that day. Lucky my friend had a spare puffer, she also told me I could buy ventolin over the counter. I called Waramanga medical centre to ask them to tell people in the future that this option was available, to which the senior receptionist lady told me well its more expensive to buy it OTC then with a script so i wouldn't have recommended that anyway". Dr Faraz was pleasant, chatty, and comprehensive. My appointment was on time, in fact a bit early. Responsible COVID precautions, since I had a cold they asked me to do a Rapid Antigen Test at home and then wait in my car and call them when I arrive. When Dr Faraz was ready for me, the friendly receptionist called me to come in. Since I booked through HealthEngine, they already had my details and I didn't have to fill out a form. Just had to tell the receptionist my Medicare number for the rebate. The cost of the appointment was average for Canberra. I would return and recommend others based on the service I received.

Wish I read Google reviews before booking and attending. Doctor I seen (25 minutes late) simply googled my symptoms and read the treatments to fix the problem word for word off google.. Then gave me a script for pretty basic medicine that you can buy in a chemist over the counter even the chemist were confused why I handed them a script when it’s not needed, and then I was charged me $90 for the whole experience. The receptionist was lovely, but we don’t go there to see the receptionist so I was quite dissatisfied with the level of service received. You’ll get a similar outcome if you’ve got the Internet, and save some money while you’re at it.

Easy to book appointments. Very welcoming staff and it was great to finally find a doctor who has the time to listen to me. Highly recommend.
