My experience with Hanchi was one of my best in Karate very disciplined in all ways I came from Shotokan style so found it a challenge to learnI wish them every success and advise all that try out Kenkokan Karate you will not look back enjoy and travel the path to greater heightsHanchi I still have your black Gi you gave me will treasure it for as long as I live OSS

Nothing but praise for this outfit. I trained there for a couple of years and I will go back as soon as travel commitments allow me to start again. This club is overseen by a true master, Hanshi Pat McKean and the head instructor Shihan Kerrie Mee is a formidable martial artist and trainer. If you have kids that need a little direction with their personal discipline or they need to build confidence please give U.K.B Kenkokan a try.Adults and advanced martial artists will also benefit from a lifetime of experience the trainers bring. Please pop in and check out the DOJO at Ashmore Rd, I very much doubt you’ll see another that can clearly display it’s heritage and traditional roots as well as an impressive array or Historical Photographs and artefacts on display. Hanshi Pat McKean (10th Dan) has travelled the world training and teaching I can’t imagine why anyone would not want to take advantage of having “A True Master” on their doorstep.

I have trained at the kenkokan Hombu Dojo for over 5 years nows and was lucky enough to enjoy the experience with my 2 boys. I can honestly say that Hanshi Pat mckean is not only one of the best martial arts instructors that I have met but also the most caring and worldly experienced people I have had the pleasure to meet. Shian Kerry Mee is also an excellent Martial artist and has always been there for myself and my children. The best trip I have had was when we competed in Japan, its was a truely amazing trip and I still today remember all the fun and great experiences we had there.I highly recommend Kenkokan Karate for anybody who wants to learn from the best and in a family orientated environmentScott Jones
