Colony Inn Hotel Motel

Very friendly owners/staff. We stayed overnight & had dinner at the hotel, can't speak highly enough of the service & the food was sensational. Well worth a stop & visit, even if it's only for the food. Extensive menu, superbly cooked. Top notch.

We ate in the bistro. Excellent food, service, price, and atmosphere. Could not recommend more highly.

We stayed elsewhere, but were recommended to go here for some take-away as we arrived quite late at night.My husband said the service was great and the food matched. We had Beef & Guinness casserole and Pumpkin soup, which we both thoroughly enjoyed.Would certainly head back there next time we are in town.

Went there for some lunch around 1pm, great atmosphere and the manager was very nice and accommodating. On top of that the food was amazing and the portions were very generous. We were just passing by so we won’t be able to return unfortunately but would recommend this place to everyone considering it. Thumbs up to the chef and the manager (didn’t catch their names) :)

We ate at the restaurant and we're beyond thrilled with the quality of produce and food served. It was exceptional.We're passing through from the Gold Coast and we're thrilled with not only the service, wine and alcohol choice but the food is something again!I look forward to our return trip.The chef has given some of the five star restaurants we've eaten at frequently a run for their money.Congratulations & keep up the exceptional work!

Had lunch here on Anzac day while other places were closed, a lovely experience, service was great, food was really good! Prices were quite reasonable in my opinion, I had the Chook and Brook" and chicken was succulent and cooked to perfection

We enjoyed an overnight stay at Colony Inn Hotel Motel on 2nd May 2023. The bed was comfy, the room clean and well serviced. We especially want to thank the cleaning staff and also Fergus for returning a hearing aid left behind. It is now back with its owner. The good thing about this place is that you can bring your pet. That's it.The taps sing to you when you turn them on though, that was a pleasant surprise. Door handle decided to cark it but it was all good, quick fix by sticking it back to where it belonged did the job. The vanity is held up by tape, so please use gently. Light fittings slightly hanging off the ceiling but still safe to use. If you love 70's decor then this is the place for you. All original furnishings including the ripped carpet, it really takes you back in time. If you're not too fussy and you have a pet and you don't mind it being over priced because you're doing the town a favour, then I would recommend.
