Pelican Waters Tavern
We had a pretty disappointing experience at the tavern. The service was poor and slow and not that friendly. The meals came out at different times, with some people waiting 40 minutes after others had been served. The meals took an extremely long time despite the restaurant not being that busy. One server was rude when we said it was taking a long while. Despite having a full bar I was told I could not order a drink if it wasn’t listed on the menu. The “fresh” oysters had been either freshly thawed from being frozen, or were quite old, dried out, and smelled off. The food quality was mediocre for the price. Would not recommend for anything other than chips and a beer with a canal view.

Nicely located overlooking the canal. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service a bit slow. Seniors meals available. Good variety on menu. Meals were nice.

We visit this tavern once a year, On our family holiday and every time has been wonderful. The staff are friendly and always helpful and the kids enjoy the kids room. Special shout out to the chefs- you guys do an amazing job and deserve the recognition of a job well done. Thank you

We recently celebrated my mum's birthday here and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Portion sizes were great and the food delicious. Won't hesitate in returning.

A generally consistent experience each time I dine at PWT. Plenty to choose from the menu, whether you want a big feed, something small, or something in-between.You can order directly from the table, which is convenient. Service is usually fast regardless of how busy they are.Whether you like a feed, a drink, or a bit of a flutter, you can get it all here.

Terrible!Waited to be seated, no one acknowledged yet seated us,we found our own seats got our own menus.No table service, we got told to order at the bar.Asked about the chefs specials, I decided to have what i was told Barramundi with haloumi salad. I ended up with Barramundi with couscous, broccoli and a tasteless dressing. Another meal that came to our table lambsfry which was on the menu as lambsfry and bacon,served on mashed potatoes and peas. A couple of peas,no bacon.Disappointing that the prices do not reflect, self services and below average meals.Should have gone to the bar area and had a bar meal. Will not be back.

Overall better than average for a pub. They do need to learn who to cook steak correctly. Asked for rare and got well done. Re-cooked and was good the second time. Friendly staff. Very good location.

Great Tavern. Would highly recommend.The tavern offers lovely food at a decent price. We enjoyed the pelican platter. Everyone really enjoyed the southern chicken burger.There is a small kids play area.There is a sports bar.There is a members club you can join.

Took Mum here for her Birthday lunch and we really enjoyed it. Good service, nice drinks and nice food. Well done to thevwhole staff
