Ocean Blue Electrics

My experience of Ocean Blue Electrics has not been positive, and I would not recommend them to others. This work is in relation to installing down lights.Firstly, when the job was initially performed I was not particularly happy with the service. There was a lot of mess that was not cleaned up and my personal vacuum cleaner was used which led to it having to be replaced.After the work was completed, my building management hired an independent electrician to do a review of the work and found there to be 6 non-compliance issues. OB Electrics had many excuses as to why the work was indeed compliant. I still wanted the issues addressed. I was provided with a quote estimate to address the non-compliance issues. An electrician was sent and because the issues were in the ceiling, I could not observe what was completed.I was at home the whole time and let the electrician on to the property and let him out as well. The invoice was for 1.5 hours more than the electrician was on the property. I refused to pay for additional labour hours which were clearly over charged, especially since these hours were fixing issues in the workmanship from the first attempt at the job. OB Electrics refused to provide a completion of works until the invoice was paid. I did pay the invoice once it was updated to reflect the correct labour hours.On receiving the completion of works it was stated that only 2 of the 6 issues had been addressed. The others had been ignored. I was under the impression that the electrician was paid to come out to address the non-compliant issues and only found out after paying the invoice that 4 of the issues were ignored. I am now in a situation where the electrical works for my lighting it still non-compliant despite paying the invoice for it to be addressed and having to get another electrician in to address the issues OB Electrics could not address after two attempts.I have tried communicating with OBS electrics and they once again have a bunch of excuses. They also continue to take previous statements out of context and argue on technicalities.The above is my personal experience of dealing with Ocean Blue Electrics. Based on this I would not recommend that you engage their services.

Arrived on time. Needed an electrian to disconnect old stove and connect new stove. Did the job quickly, very professional and cleaned up. Very polite and friendly. Didn't charge an arm and a leg. I woukd hu highly recommend.
