Just took a bit longer to wait then expected for food today but there may have been some unseen event that I never took notice of. The food was amazing and service was even better. Definitely coming back to see if the wait time improves.

We had looked at the reviews and were not sure if to go....WELL...we ended up having dinner 2 nights in a row! Thankyou to the chef & kitchen staff for being amazing with my seafood allergy and preparation of our meals. You guys rock!

Looked amazing but no. We were really disappointed. First of all, not a smile or any kind service out of any of the staff. Then they forgot our entrees after 40 minutes. Kids meal took 70 minutes. Wasn't a flat out night & I wasn't the only one complaining

Popular watering hole, even busy on the Monday night when I was there. Enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Despite the busyness of the place, the meals came out quickly after ordering. I had the beef ribs, followed by the pecan pie as dessert, all washed down by a pint of Guiness. The ribs were melt in the mouth tender, but very fatty and lacking in salt and flavouring of the advertised seasoning. It would help if the chef occasionally tasted his cooking - maybe he just missed this one. For the lack of taste, I would probably not order these ribs again. Might try the beef rissoles next, which looked very appetizing. The pecan pie was as delicious as it looks. Four stars only for the lack of the advertised seasoning of the beef ribs.Update: I have been back and had the potato skins and beef rissoles. Both were nicely presented and delicious.

The bar and restaurant are good. In old historical building. Where you normally eat was booked out so went into one of their bars and ordered.The meal is huge and very good flavor, delicious ribs and steak.The staff all the time friendly and helpful.I would highly recommend this place to everyone.Good location close to the riverside.

This is a very nice local pub. There is lots of space and several TV's with sports on. The menu has a very good variety of food. I tried to steak which was good although a little too done for medium-rare. The outside was seared a little too much in one or two places but otherwise the steak is really good, taste excellent.

Good food and ambience. Tried the Mixed Grill (added onion rings) and was definitely worth the price (portion could feed 2).Only downside is the wait after ordering (ordered at 7pm, food arrived around 8.30pm), would suggest arriving earlier for shorter wait times.

Amazing steak in Rockhampton. I had the 400g rump which cooked to perfection. Tasty and tender. Saturday night live music was equally awesome.
