I came in and asked to brighten up my roots ONLY. I did not ask for anything else, I just wanted my roots to be lighter since my regrowth was pretty dark compared to the length of my hair.After explaining this to the hairdresser, she bleached my hair and applied a toner. Instead of achieving the desired lightness, my hair turned out fully BROWN, very dark.I started to panic, but the staff ignored my reaction. I had to specifically ask them to try something to restore my natural color. They applied a product that partially worked, but it didn't bring my hair color back completely. After discussing the issue with their staff, they agreed to book me for another appointment in the following days....However, on the scheduled day, the manager, CANCELED MY REDO appointment and refunded my deposit, without making any effort to assist me further. This left me with damaged hair due to the treatments and without any attempt to resolve my hair colour.I do not recommend this place!!

Sandy The Salon is a beautiful space filled with the most lovely girls who know and do the best hair on the Northern Beaches.As soon as you walk into the salon you feel so welcomed as you are greeted with a friendly smile from Ellen who is absolutely lovely and super helpful!Brooke (amazing!!) honestly did the best cut I have ever had. I am super low key when it comes to my hair but it is the best my hair has ever felt and looked - feels super fresh and looks healthy.I can’t wait for my next appointment x o

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Sandy ladies (including Holly and Poppy) for being the most incredible hairdressing team!!Brooke is a true professional and always does the most amazing colouring and cut on my hair. I cannot speak more highly of her and her skills. I leave every appointment SO happy. I’ve also been in the hands of the master herself Ange, and like Brooke, she listens to exactly what I ask for and delivers.Honestly the best (and chicest) salon on the beaches albeit Sydney!! Do yourself and your hair a favour and pay Sandy a visit!

I booked an appointment at Sandy out of pure desperation. My hairdresser of 15years couldnt fit me in, and there was no way i could attend a wedding with my 3cm (dark brown) roots on a scalp bleach. I was quite nervous/hesitant about going.I was seen (on time) by Bernie, who looked at my hair, hid her disgust very well, and asked what i was hoping to achieve. I showed her a few pictures of hair I wanted to get to (less maintenance), but my brief was loose. She took the very little info I gave her, formed a plan, and ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT (and happily quoted the price before starting - so much cheaper than i thought!)I don't think I've ever been this happy with my hair. I keep looking at it in the mirror. Bernie basically performed a miracle!!Do yourself a favour and book in here.They also have two gorgeous salon puppies that love a cuddle which makes it even more enjoyable!Before and after photos attached to give an idea of the transformation - they dont do it justice, but hopefully give you an idea!

The girls at Sandy honestly saved my hair!! I could not recommend them enough!!!! I went into the salon from a disaster colour that I had done at my normal hairdresser. I didn't have an appointment, but out of pure desperation and a friend's recommendation I walked in and asked for help. They squeezed me in right then and there so I didn't have to endure another day of green hair and sorted the whole thing out within an hour. All of the team were wonderful, super friendly and they all seemed very knowledgeable and passionate about hairdressing. Alyssa who did my hair was amazing!! So bubbly and had fantastic customer service. My hair now looks beautiful and healthy and it goes without saying I will definitely be back.

I have been coming to this salon for years. Ang (aka - Angela, the Salon Owner) has been doing my hair for over 10 years now. Her knowledge and skills are one of the best I have come across in this industry, she is one truly talented young lady! Ang perfects my hair every single time. I don't even have to tell her what I want done anymore, as she knows what I like and knows my hair. I drive over 1 hour to this salon for Ang to do my hair and it's totally worth it! I can't recommend this salon enough, Ang and her team are amazing! My photos speak for themselves! 6 months between visits to have my balayage redone in 1 sitting!

Wonderful experience at Sandy!! Amy took me in last minute on a cancellation and took such good care of me. She could tell off the bat that I was stressed so she not only listened to what I wanted with my hair, but also offered me coffee, wine, and snacks. She is extremely talented and her assistant (Monique I think was her name) did an excellent head massage. Very friendly salon environment and felt like I was in great hands. 10/10 will return and see Amy again! Thank you all!!

I was visiting the Australia on a holiday and I wanted to do something fun with my hair. Not only was the salon beautiful and my stylist was amazing, but the area was really nice too. The receptionist was polite and prompt with scheduling my appointment via Instagram. Overall, great experience and would go there again.
