Ipswich Kia

Test drove the Kia Niro EV Gt Line and after deciding with the tech etc this was the way to go for our second EV, we were quite excited for it. The colour we wanted in the 2023 line was available and then the issues started, between finance (external to kia) and kia there were numerous delays, forms not attached, illness (unfortunate), not delivered as promised, etc. We had to continually try and contact the dealer for updates and it was hard to get a hold of them, when we did get a call back all seemed like it was on track. When the 1st delivery day elapsed, there was some documentation missing, then the second more. We were not informed on either side and while this cant be pinged on Kia entirely they seemed to have knowledge of the issue, while we ramained completely unaware of any issue, and when the issue was raised it was resolved immediately.When settlement finally occured, we were informed we would get the car the next day, more days elapsed and told definately the next. It eventually took over 2 extra weeks (and it caused pain as we needed a second car as the main car was needed longer travel in the periods), and then it wasnt even fully charged as promised, and it came post 5pm, thats fine and all and we had a very appologetic delivery man. Unlike the BMW there was no hand over and run through on features, it was just... here you go. While I enjoy figuring out the tech it was a vast contrast on sales/handover/personalisation, and I guess you get this in this age of online purchasing.Vast contrast to BMW where we purchased the IX3 at Westside a month earlier, who were in contact every day, informing progress, pushing us on the finance side, came fully charged, floor mats and heaps of other items. While we didnt expect the same overal on the car as the IX3, we knew this going in, however you would expect similar service.The car itself is good and we like it but the process was painful, then we discovered it doesnt even have floor mats. At no point were we informed of this, so now an extra cost on top of that.Oh and be careful, the presumption that this car comes with seat position memory buttons is false, you need to adjust each time (only overseas has this feature, which is strange). Thats pretty much the only issue we have seen with the car, the rest is pretty sweet.Not sure if this is accross the board, but next time we will do what we did with the IX3 and purchase the car ourselves, so any financials deal with us and not so much the dealer.

Excellent customer service from Jeremy and the team. I appreciated the friendly and personal approach, even when I had to change plans and couldn't move forward with the sale. Trustworthy and genuine people.

Efficient, washed the car, serviced it and fixed the wheels. All in record time. Worth every cent!

Jeremy and Alex are so helpful and kind. I was very attached to my old car as I had owned it for 14 years, but all of the staff at Ipswich Kia made my trade in a positive experience. Now I'm loving my first ever brand new car! A Kia Stonic in the colour I've always wanted. It's on a great finance plan and I can go back for all the technology support as many times as I need which is very reassuring. Ipswich Kia has been the best car dealer experience all round!

The Kia EV6 was an amazing piece of technology to drive.

Was absolutely interested in the GT Line Kia's.Needed a car now, not interested in an ill-defined timeframe up to 6 or more months away.Salesman also had no idea on towing, gave me rough guesstimates that he would have to double check.I didn't feel like the salesperson was all that motivated to sell me a car.I'm downgrading from nearly a decade of needing a 4x4, still need to occasionally tow a box trailer or occasionally grab things from IKEA or Bunnings.I want a fast car that can tow maybe 1,500-2,000kg at a pinch. Nothing too heavy, not like it's a car on a car trailer.A VW Golf 7.5 can tow 1,600kg, a Skoda Karoq can tow 1,500kg. So really, it's not a huge amount of weight. It's a family car level of towing.But the salesman didn't seem to know much about the cars he was selling, and wasn't overly motivated to sell them.I was disappointed with the experience. I do not think I'll return to Kia.

I have had numerous positive interactions with Jayden across this dealership. His sales knowledge is unmatched, not to mention his responsiveness, charisma, and willingness to help however he can makes him stand out from the crowd of salesmen from other dealerships I have visited. He works with his customers best interests at heart, and will bend over backwards to get you what you need! Wouldn’t buy from anyone else!

If i could give 0 stars it would have been a preferred choice but why I've given this rating is due to a Lady we were attended too, her name is Alexandra Coenraads whom we haven't even met face to face as she only communicated by email!! My Partner and I were interested in the Sorrento and had it set in stone as we had been car shopping for months to choose the right car for our growing family, we supplied all the documentation required paid a deposit a couple weeks later she called and said we didn't meet requirements. She asked for more documentation, we forwarded all that information same day, she replied in an email within 1 hour and said, sorry
