Thank you Home and Energy. Very happy with our solar upgrade and battery installation. Gareth and the team were excellent. The work was carried out quickly and professionally. We were kept informed throughout the whole process and the follow up service was terrific. We’ve just had our first bill and the system has proven itself beyond our expectations. Our installation is a bit of a litmus test for some of our friends and we’ll certainly be recommending Home and Energy to them. And great to be using a local company.

Our business relationship goes back to 17 March 2022, the day we received the first quote for a new Solar System from Home and Energy to replace a 'hail' damaged existing solar system. Adam Derrick, director of Home and Energy, has since been communicating with us on a regular base.A bit of historical information to assist with the review.Our Colourbond roof was badly damaged following the infamous 2018 hailstorms in Jones Hill. Repairs were put on 'hold' due to personal circumstances, early 2022 the insurance claim was reopened with APIA (thank you so much for your patience) but as it had been longer than three (3) months after the initial roof inspection was done, all had to been redone - as per standard procedure.The original solar system installer, showed no professional attitude and very bad communication skills hence I researched other solar system installers.We found Home and Energy in Noosa, with Adam Derrick at the helm. Home and Energy were a real pleasure to deal with when we had a solar system installed on our new home.Adam and the team were able to advise on the merits of various combinations of hardware and had good visualisations of the expected output and payoff periods. The installation team were quick and efficient putting the panels on the roof and wiring up the inverter. They took extra care not to damage the new roof.We are grateful for the prompt and professional service.

Gareth came out looked at our electricity usage and discussed our needs for the future. He encouraged the installation of our battery for the extra power we are generating and not using through the day and he was right. We use the stored power at night and through the cloudy days and are mostly free from the grid. The installers were professional, knowledgeable and quick, everything was done in a day. The system is working exactly as described.

I could not be happier with Home& Energy. They took a lot of time and shared a lot of information and options during the sales process and I felt fully supported and under no pressure (compared with other solar firms).I'm no expert and they were very patient to make sure I understood what I needed to know to make a good decision.The installation went really smoothly - they helped me prep; told me what would happen; arrived when they said and gave me an overview of what they had done.I had a small issue with the inverter monitoring software initially and they were all over it in a flash - came out to visit, got the supplier to issue a firmware update and it was all solved within 24hrs. This level of support is so unusual to find in this day and age. I am 100% convinced I chose the right company.

The Noosa Lakes Resort Body Corporate Committee engaged Home and Energy to design and install what turned out to be the largest installation in the Noosa Shire - more than double the previous largest.From the outset, Gareth's design abilities, high level of solar knowledge and expertise and enthusiastic application to the finest of details of this project set Home and Energy apart from the competing solar contractors. Despite this, they were financially competitive quoting high quality components.Adam managed the installation of two commercial systems as well as residential systems on the owners' townhouses and communicated well with on site management and owners. The finished product is neat, unobtrusive and consistent across the buildings.Any minor issues arising (as there were bound to be in such a complex project) were quickly and efficiently dealt with. We received no complaints from guests to the resort regarding noise, bad language or mess, despite Home and Energy being on site for several weeks. They even paused their installation to avoid noise during school holidays.I would have no hesitation in recommending Home and Energy to quote for any commercial or residential solar design or installation in the Noosa and Sunshine Coast areas. They have proved themselves more than capable for both large commercial and 'standard' residential installations. There is no need to go further afield - support a local business.
