Sawn Rocks Car Park
As far as car parks go it’s superb. Got 2 pull through spaces for caravans, a decent amount of parking, toilets nearby, 2 or 3 picnic tables and 2 complimentary BBQs (picnic tables and BBQs are shaded from the sun). The track itself is very wheelchair friendly and there is a single disability parking space right next to the start of the track.

Lovely short walking track 750m. Great views of sawn rock. Go futher to the rock pools and get wet in the cold water. Very refreshing. Long drop clean toilets. Nice picnic area with BBQs and shade. RV friendly parking for buses, caravans and motorhomes. Sunsets are divine from the top of the mountain.

Amazing rock formation and easy walk from the carpark. New facilities including gas BBQ and picnic tables with toilets and drinking water. Nice little flowing creek and peaceful. Close and easy drive to or from Narrabri.

Walk is very very easy for such an amazing view. There is first a lookout view point not far along the path which is honestly awe striking and stops you in your tracks at the magnificents luckily there is a seat to do this, not far after the view point is a little path down to the creek bed which allows you to explore the fallen structures which provide a perfect natural seat to rest and take in the view. While I was there, there was no water in the creek so access was no problem. This can only be given 5 stars, its such a phenomenal natural occurrence that is rare to experienceand with it being to easy to access to all how can I give it less.

The most amazing natural wonder. Photos don't do it justice. Level walk to the viewing platform is wheelchair accessible. From their it's about 25 steps down to the creek bed for even more amazing views of the fallen rocks.

An easy walk from the carpark to view an amazing rock formation. I recommend you don't stop at the viewing platform but, if you can, continue down the path & steps to the base of the Sawn Rocks and explore those that have fallen along with the creek (depending on recent rainfall and ability to access - we had no issues, Feb 8, 2022). Doesn't take long to walk out, have a look and walk back. Well worth the quick stop.Clean toilets at carpark (2), with plenty of parking, along with shaded picnic tables. Nice stop for lunch and an easy walk.

Easy walk and a very clear, up-close view of the rock formation. The drive from Narrabri is very pleasant, too. Awesome seeing how the plain turns into mountains.
