I arrived at this store because I heard a broadcaster talk about it on radio so I was kinda 'hypnotised' lol . B&R are sewing specialists: they stock in the store embroidery machines also new and pre-loved sewing machines and overlockers and provide machine service plus lessons. I wish I knew about this store earlier. It's a good local choice. For the local ladies.

My mother's machine had completely seized and so I arranged for the team at Blackmore and Roy to have a look and see what could be done. Within an hour of dropping it off they had confirmed they could repair the machine and did so immediately at my request. Great service all round at a good price.

Service when buying something cant complain. The service given when having ur machine serviced is pathetic. My embroidery machine went in for a service it was about 14 months old. Got machine back full of grease and oil. No covers for the side screws . Did not replace a part that I mentioned when giving machine in. I'm part of a sewing group many of our ladies have bought machines and stuff there. So have spent a lot if money there. Most of my ladies have had the same useless rude service from the guy that fixes the machines. And as servicing is such an important part of maintaining our expensive toys its sad that I cannot rely on having my machines done there. So no would not recommend them ever for servicing of machines

If you need a service call at home on your machine (mine is an industrial machine), look no further than this company!Very pleasant to deal with over the phone. I was lucky enough to get a booking on the day I called. Steve, the technician, was quick to diagnose and fixed my machine's problem in 20minutes!

Totally love this place. I don't usually go anywhere near sewing shops but these guys are so much more. I only went for scan and cut rhinestones and really liked the people. The customer service was good. You were acknowledged straight away even though there were people in the shop. What the person helping me didn't know, they filled out by sending to me someone who did. I was even offered a magazine for information that has great projects in it so they had me right there. There is some great stuff for scan n cut machines. DO NOT go to Spotlight for your rhinestone kit. A lot more expensive than this store. The people here really were helpful. Lol I am dangerous to sewing machines, even just by walking in the room, the lady here says she can cure me of this malady so I hope she is up to the challenge. I may just take her up on it. If you are after sewing supplies, your machine fixed or a decent machine, these guys are definitely a visit. Check them out people!

They’re brilliant, did an excellent job of servicing my machine. For $120. Well worth it. I would recommend them to anyone, I am so satisfied!!!!! I looked around and these guys met and exceeding my expectations. Very grateful!!!!

I had issues with two machines - one relatively new and the other very old.Both fixed and serviced at a good price, in less time than I expected. Excellent service and helpful advice for better use and care of these machines.

Really happy with the service and a vast range of sewing machines. We were looking for a sewing machine for my mum and this place offered a vast variety and they try and understand what we are looking for and at a reasonable price. We are very satisfied with the product.

I’m very happy with the services I received when buying a new machine. Lisa was very helpful and patient explaining all the different options in great detail. Thank you for helping me find the perfect machine and keeping within the budget. I have been offered to come back as many times as needed for lessons. Highly recommend this awesome shop.
