When I went for my eye test, the woman gave me a hearing test before the eye test..I was confused because even though it was free I didn't want a hearing test..I was pushed into having it which took my rights away from me.I then went in to see the eye specialist. He too went on about the hearing test and proceeded to book me in to the audiologist. I said hey what are you doing..He said your hearing test wasn't so good and I needed this appointment. I told him I heard every sound..He mumble something and left it at that.I was pushed into this and I don't like my free agency removed from me. I was happy with the girls at the front desk, they were very nice. I won't return if I am railroaded into another hearing test. Please don't be so pushy. You must ask politely if a person wants one. Thank you

Needed to be seen urgently today by an optometrist and even though they were very busy they managed to squeeze me in. The service was excellent. All the staff were professional, kind and understanding. Michael the optometrist did a thorough examination and put my mind at ease, he also gave me clear instructions for when at home and a follow up program. I would highly recommend Michael and the team at Spearwood Spec Savers.

I can't say enough good about this store. I will tell you what happened and let you decide: After two days of blurry vision I decided to get a check up. It was then that I realised that I actually couldn't see anything out of my left eye. This optometrist saved my sight by driving me to one of the best surgeons which led to my torn retina being repaired the next day. I still feel overwhelmed by this generous act of kindness.

The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, they didn’t rush any of my tests and spent plenty of time helping me choose the best glasses to suit me.

Was told today my glasses are not under warranty , when I have returned to the shop to complain previously about not being able to see properly, was told i would get used to them ,waited till footy and rugby season to see if I could see the numbers from a distance, I cannot .so returned again today without even checking if it might have been their mistake the staff are telling me it not under warranty because they are 7 months old .I understand that but why would I pay full price and let them make them wrong again? Obvious they are the wrong prescription had no trouble with my older ones.

Alex at spearwood is a gem, great guy, wat a personality.My glasses were dent, he fixed it in minutes, took measurements of new ones.Good and rewarding experience.
