Staff were friendly but the food wasn’t the best. The bun of the chicken burger could be improved, tasted like a cheap roll from woolies that has been left out for a couple of days. A fresh seeded bun would be perfect and I’ll be back :)

We really enjoyed the sirloin strip steak on flatbread, lovely grilled flavour in the meat and a pleasant mustard style sauce. The fried calamari rings were a bitter disappointment. 99% where fried batter rings with the tiniest slither of squid, I had one ring where I could actually taste the calamari and it tasted nice. So my rating is badly affected by that experience. Eating fried batter made me feel ill and at $28 that's not acceptable. On a good note the Dark Vader beer was great,

Visited Christmas holidays 2022. Very busy. The food was ok. Not sure if they were just too busy or if it's usually like this but nothing was fantastic. Steak on flatbread was by far the standout. Solid, safe option if you're in the area. A little on the expensive side. Indoors could do with a little more aircon and maybe a bug zapper somewhere...

Lovely place to hang in a quiet town. Offer a number of different options for the beer. The bar food were ok, nothing spectacular. If you do want to order the fries with gravy, do skip it as it is way too salty. Otherwise, great place to hang.

Love the place, they don't take bookings you just walk in and find a table.You can find a couple of tables where you could sit by yourselves otherwise you share a table with other people.Jake is a SuperStar, very polite on the phone and very accommodating...All the staff love their job which makes it a better experience for patrons

Fabulous addition to the Halls Gab gastro selection. I had a pulled port roll which hit the spot and my partner the pasta. The ‘just a regular beer’ went down a treat and service was fast. Not forgetting the amazing views, too place!

Don’t come here hungry, you’ll want to eat everything off the menu!It’s the perfect place to stop after a morning of hiking up the trails.Ordered the fried chicken burger, pork belly, beer paddles, wings, bruschetta and croquettes…everything was really nice and fresh!Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to eat in Halls Gap!

A very good brew pub with some great beers on tap. Also the food is really nice, especially the buffalo sauce is worth trying.
