I've been a handful of times now and its not local to me, I have been super impressed with the food and staff. I would ignore the bad reviews, I've never had a problem with the food its always a pleasant experience me and my partner think its the best fish and chips we've had.

We found a flyer in the letter box this evening, so thought we'd give Tankk a try, and ordered take away. A good decision! Yummy fish and chips with bonus pineapple ring and two delicious classic fish burgers. All very nice indeed! Also friendly staff, and the place has seating available and a nice vibe. Already recommended to a friend! We'll be back for more, and will dine there next time!

Clean spacious shop. Attentive & nice service. Food is fresh & tasty. Pepper, salt & tomato available however other sauces like aioli & tartare available at a minimal fee. Car park lots are quite a lot too however it can still be challenging at times to find spots to park as there are a few commercial establishment around.

The previous owner was outstanding. This is not as good. It’s more of a chain-type store. Fish was thin and chips were dry; I threw half of them out. The squid rings were excellent but I ordered them crumbed and got them battered. I would not go back but it may meet your expectations. I wish them luck.

Great fish and chips - we had hake and it was fresh, flaky and batter was crispy. The chips were some of the best I’ve had in a long time! Great crunch and they were perfectly cooked inside. The shop is spacious and there is plenty of seating with a comfy booth seat. Service is prompt and friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good quality, local place to have fish and chips.

Purchased a Groupon voucher. Surprisingly this is the cleanest fish & chips store by far that I've ever came. The interior decoration is also nice. Chips were nice, even I reheated next day morning, still nice, not too soggy. The fish portion was pretty generous, not small fish though. The side options were pineapple, onion or dim sim. I chose dim sim, well it was edible but not a wise choice.It was only 1 person worked who handled everything: taking & preparing orders, cooking, answering phone calls, so I waited for almost 30 minutes.

I ordered some fish burgers which were advertised to have lettuce, tomato, cheese, beetroot & tartare sauce...When they arrived there was no lettuce, however, the leaves it did have were so wilted they should have been in the bin, there was no tomato, no cheese or tartare sauce...Why do you guys do this???...& please don't say you ran out, when you're 10 paces away from Herdsman Fresh...So Very Disappointing...Waste of time & money...You really need to lift your game Tankk!!!
