I was very anxious at first as she’s a straight shooter. She never scapegoated either of us. Just helped us understand how we were both contributing to the the toxic dynamic we got ourselves stuck in. She highlighted how we were BOTH contributing to the negative outcomes we were enduring.

Paula is incredible and I highly recommend her. I met Paula in 2014 after sharing my story with countless psychologists, psychiatrists, hospital staff and health workers. She is the psychologist I have stuck with because her style of therapy made a real change in my way of thinking and dealing with the issues of my past and present.I suppose it felt like I was ripping a bandaid off and exposing my pains each time I shared my story with someone and felt that they just took notes and didn’t really deal with my issues. Paula was the first person who could flesh out my pain and allowed me to deal with it, supporting me each step of the way. The working relationship and environment she creates is safe and without judgement and she explains life and its complications so clearly and articulately I am more aware of myself and perceptions of life.She is authentic and lives what she teaches. Her therapy not only improves understanding of what is happening emotionally and intellectually but also gives guidance about actions to take to manage the inevitable ups and downs of life. We went to Paula for pre-marriage counselling, having had some concerns about our relationship before the big day.
