We have been doing business with this chemist for 32 years, karin bringing the newest owner , we as a family can not praise this chemist enough, many times bending over backwards, staff we have mainly delt with are Karin, Patricia, Vicky and yesie, susan, and Rylie,thankyou for your compassion and help, great chemist. Overpriced items. Found out later that the item i bought was only around $39.90, not the $59.95 they charged me. Went back to try and return item but no apologies or any sort of offer.

We are a local family and have had such kind and excellent service from Greenwell & Thomas over the years. The pharmacists are professional, attentive and generous in their care and explanations, including during busy times. The team is very courteous and well-supported. Warm thanks for your care. The worker there Jessis was very helpful and knows a lot about the products around her, if she didn't know she would ask the pharmacist for the correct information. Highly recommend her to assist you if she is available.

I couldn't recommend G&T strongly enough - the staff are friendly, helpful, and patient with the nice easy customers AND everybody else besides, and they've always taken time to explain the fine print with my confusing mixed assortment of needsI've never thought of any pharmacy as being 'my regular', but I've got zero interest in going anywhere else, now!Thanks so much to all the team at G&T, and keep it up!

I’m loyal to this pharmacy because they always make my visits pleasant and stress free.Stocking up on your meds can be fraught with anxiety however I feel supported and understood with whatever health issues I’m working to maintain or minimise.Friendly, good old fashioned service here.

Don't trust the label prices as my purchases were more expensive once it was all rung up and there was no offer to remedy it. Everything else is fine. It is a functioning pharmacy that does what it should. Just ignore the dumping ground in the old Kodak service desk.

Worst chemist ever. I went in and asked to have two refills of my script dispensed as I am going overseas for six weeks and won’t have enough medication to last me the entire time. I was sent away by rudest girl at the front desk without any help, advice or guidance and not enough medication as they would only give me one refill. My partner went in and advocated for me and found out from the pharmacist, who was nice enough and trying to be helpful, that there in fact is a way to get more than one refill dispensed, but I was not given that information and was told otherwise. This pharmacy is negligent and dangerous and needs to train their staff to understand how to communicate with people and the seriousness of sending someone away without their medication or at least the right information about how to get their medication. They had no interest in helping me until the situation was escalated, and even then it was like pulling teeth to get any help.

I found out today that this Pharmacy overcharges for prescriptions (and I am guessing other items in store too). I really wish I had read the other Google reviews before shopping here because I can see that this happens regularly. I have a prescription that I have been filling for a long time at $25 at pharmacies in Sydney. Greenwell and Thomas Katoomba charge $34 with no explanation whatsoever for the higher price. The response from the staff member I spoke to was one of apathy... it was pretty apparent that they are aware and that this is intentional. They tried to gaslight me into believing the price had gone up and that their price was correct. I checked in with my GP, and she confirmed that the correct price is $25 and she was shocked that any pharmacy would try and charge more. I won't be shopping here again.
