An architecturally nice building. It is only open for events, but you are able to look through the window to see inside.It is accessible to people who have a disability.

The oldest greenhouse in NSW, what a cool little bit of information. We booked this a a wet weather option for our wedding and I’m glad we did. It poured on our wedding day, but the Palm House was there for us in all her glory. The day was perfect and the Palm House proved to be a sensational spot to get married. This place will always have a special place in my soul.

Believed to be the oldest surviving glass house in NSW and was built in 1876. Not necessarily worth going out of your way to specifically see this, but certainly worth a visit if you find yourself visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens anyway.

First time attending a wedding service in a converted greenhouse. Very different and relaxed feel. Surrounded by beautiful gardens was added bonus with a backdrop of the sydney city scape.

Palm House
This was once the oldest glasshouse in NSW as it was built inb1876. It's now has multiple use as exhibition venues or wedding venue. You really appreciate this building when you attend either an art exhibition or a wedding to really appreciate how the natural light brings the ambience alive. It's surrounded by well established gardens especially the Aboriginal medicinal plants and a short stroll to the Sydney Fernery. The setting is gorgeous but the interior is empty unless being used for special events.

Nice big space to host events but got a little too warm inside the Palm house... had to keep going out and in to feel reasonably comfortable.

Lovely garden and venue, close to street parking. Very warm on the inside as it's a converted greenhouse, but windows can open up and there are shutters to prevent light from entering the top.Rangers were slow to help for our event and did not check properly that we had the correct permits which delayed the event by an hour.
