We've dined at Bottarga Restaurant on a couple of occasions. Staff are friendly and attentive. And, the meals are simply delicious!My favourite is the: lamb backstrap, peperonata, cannellini bean puree, potato gnocchi, pistachio verde, and jus. It's absolutely perfection and a mouth watering work of art!

Very attentive staff. Excellent menu with Australian twist on traditional Italian dishes and an excellent wine selection. Magnifico!A welcome quality addition to Sunshine Coast dining.

The food was sensational and unlike other fine dining restaurants in the area, we could order a main and be very satisfied with the serving. We had the market fish and lamb and they were delicious, and the ricotta cannoli for dessert (huge plate and easy to share). It was hubby's birthday and Scott even brought out a mini creme brulee as a surprise with a sparkler! Nice touch! I haven't had such service in years! Will definitely be regulars and bring a bigger group next time.

The best EVER prawn entree. It is quite popular to slice and grill … here they are “plump, appear as of a fresh prawn.. the smoked flavour is unbelievable… please please book and enjoy this wonderful dining experience! Prompt and friendly set. Helpful with wines and food pairing. Umami and ambience collide in a stratospheric dining experience.

This was our first experience of this new restaurant. It was fabulous!The food was incredibly good.I started with Gamberi - grilled Mooloolaba king prawns in nduja with charred lemon which was served with a great slice focaccia to soak up all the wonderful juices!After this course, we knew that the main course was going to be good….and we were not mistaken.Secondi was Gold Band Snapper Fregola complete with baby roman artichoke, summer beans, baby zucchini, fregola sarda, basil pesto. Outstanding is the only word to describe this dish.My wife, who is gluten free, had the same dish but had a great selection of vegetables instead of the fregola sarda.The basil pesto just lifted the dish but was certainly not overpowering. Great dish.To complete lunch my wife and I shared the Torta Capresa, a gluten free flourless dark chocolate cake, bitter white ground almonds, Amaretto disaronna creme inglese, caramelised almonds - a fitting end to a wonderful lunch!Last, I must not forget the wait staff. Their service was first class through the the lunch.This restaurant is now my number one restaurant on the Sunshine Coast. Well done Team Bottarga!!

Amazing experience.Relaxed and very beautiful atmosphere, we were very well attended by qualified professionals. I have try the duck ragu pasta which was amazing and my wife a risotto which was delicious.Variety of wines is extensive and great quality.I really recommend and will be back again.

Fantastic food and service. The owner and staff were all very friendly and accommodating for our baby. I really couldn't fault anything. Every single course was delicious and up there with some of the best Italian restaurants we've been to. We'll definitely be back. Parking is a bit awkward around there so I recommend parking at Sunshine Plaza across the road.
