Whole place is brand spanking new circa late 2022. The store is a large Coles with a deli, bakery and all that. The fruit and vege section generally has better than average produce. There is a suhi shop with seating in the foyer.Surrounding the Coles are other shops, a cafe, Bakers Delight, a mexican, and a Grill'd resturant. There is a Hungry Jacks elsewhere in the car park. There is a set of lights to access the centre from the main road.There is a little bit of public housing nearby so you can sometimes get free street entertainment watching the housos act out. Don't leave your car there overnight.Overall I'd rate this as a good place to shop.

Had a poor experience this afternoon after being approached by (whom I presume was) the store supervisor claiming that a fellow staff member had informed her that I had not paid for a 24 pack of Coles water at the self serve checkout.I suggest in the interests of providing a positive customer experience that you check your facts before making an accusation that a customer has “not scanned and paid for an item”. If it isn’t bad enough that I had to scan and pack my own items (because no check out operator was available), I had at least 3 of your staff members standing around, looking on whilst I scanned all of my items. If any of them had a genuine interest in ‘assisting’ or enquiring whether I had scanned all items, they could have spoken up whilst I was at the Point of Sale (POS). The fact that you had the audacity to print a duplicate copy of my transaction receipt (that clearly showed the 24 pack water scanned and PAID for) whilst still implying (in front of other customers) that I had not paid for the item speaks volumes of your ‘investigative ability’. Furthermore, you made absolutely no attempt to apologise nor acknowledge that your staff member was in the wrong but instead turned your back when I told you (whilst also showing you a copy of my receipt) that I had PAID for this item. Furthermore, your role falls outside the scope of security duties… is that not the role of your store security guard to monitor and address potential loss prevention? Also, what is the point of having multiple staff members standing around observing customers at the self serve checkouts if they are not going to bother to assist? Perhaps they would be better suited to getting back behind a check out counter to scan and pack our items…not waste our time by having us do it only to then be wrongly accused of not paying for our items.Furthermore, are your security cameras in store and on your POS self serve checkouts operational or just there for aesthetic purposes???

I would like to congratulate Andrew and his team. We like many others got to the shops early to get our final shop done for Christmas and couldn’t be more impressed with the presentation and abundance of product in the store. Staff were friendly and even the shoppers seamed happy. We were in and out in great time without any hassle or queues. Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to the Coles team at west Gosford.

I like Coles West Gosford. Good customer service and a wide range of stuff. I miss the old format though. It feels abit like a cold warehouse now compared to the more intimate feel of before.

disappointed - went in to purchase easter eggs to see Coles had incorrectly advertised the eggs that i had planned to purchase several of. Upon informing the TM on the self check out (girl with orange hair - young) 2nd april around 8:30am - she was rude and claimed it was clearly advertised and the items i was wanting to purchase was $5 although there was no $5 sign rather a 2 for $7.50 sign. Rather than honouring the advertised price she was rude and disrespectful towards myself, wouldn’t take my information on board even though i had showed a picture. I informed the lady at the front desk who also agreed it was incorrectly and falsely advertised. Won’t be returning to this coles due to the poor service, rudeness and disrespect and additionally they lost a $100 sale - Unimpressed

Wonderful shops only losing points for not a lot of parking available during busy times. There is sushi cafes baker's delight Thai Indian mad Mex and a few more food outlets to dine in or get takeout
