Freedom Pools

As a resident and owner of an apartment at Elysium, it is extremely disappointing that such a prestige development hasn’t offered a fully functional swimming pool. This pool has fallen short of all expectations.While rectification works are soon to be underway by an alternate contractor to fix this poor-quality build by Freedom Pools, I would strongly advise against a company that delivers this level of inadequacy.EDIT TO REPLY BELOW:We have not been misinformed. Expert investigation has identified multiple defects in the construction of the pool such as Horizontal miss-alignment between the joint visible at the top of the slab and the joint at the bottom, no waterstop visible or found under the joint, resulting in serious omission. The dowel bars were poorly installed and there is a very shallow depth of concrete between the steel reinforcing bars and the bottom of the concrete. The whole construction of the pool is poor. Freedom pools even resorted to installing foam inserts in an attempt to stop the pool leaking. It is no wonder we have a leaking pool.The expert engaged by the Owners Corporation of the building has cut 5 inspection holes to identify the abovementioned issues and are expecting a full status report on the condition and construction of the pool in the coming days. The workmanship of Freedom Pools Central Coast is the clear defect here.

I have been unable to get Adam or Natalie to reply to my calls texts or emails since October 2022. They sprayed my concrete shell in July 2021 and have simply gone silent. It appears that they have little incentive to finish my pool as they are well in advance on progress payments. I would recommend that you be very careful in handing over a deposit to these people.

We engaged Freedom Pools to build a new concrete pool back in March. They have delivered half of the works and then disappeared and been totally unresponsive. We have been left with a half finished pool in our background and no way to finish. Currently have Service NSW also attempting to contact Freedom Pools to resolve the issue.I would welcome a call from Freedom Pools to discuss when they are going to finish our pool build. The last phone call from the owner was on Thursday 26th August and she has not returned my call since, despite me calling and emailing regularly with no response.Please note that we were always prompt with our payments, and Natalie at Freedom Pools confirmed this in our last conversation on 26 August.

Out of six enquiries or price quotes, Freedom was the only pool builder prepared to commit to a time frame in keeping with our plans to have the pool ready by swim season.The team showed up on time, dug the hole with precision, minimised mess and were flexible right up to the point of no return.There were no dramas, even when a couple of things out of Freedom's control, went a bit awry, they fixed them.The pool is exactly as we wanted it except for Lucas' ideas, which improved the aesthetics of the finish and the functionality of the pool.Because it's the first thing you see, whichever entrance you use, the impact is stunning. First time visitors gasp when they walk in and our old friends are blown away when they lay eyes on it.We recommend Freedom to anyone interested in building a swimming pool.

Use freedom pool to build my concrete pool after covid hit. They where Inadated with work prices went up. The only problem was I had was the pebble Crete was not done before Xmas as promised by Lucas no fault of his as the contracted they use went for the big bucks from others willing to pay extra to get the job done. I wish Lucas would of told me there was a problem with this but he probably thought we would give him a serve. I love my pool it was finished in February 2021. I would not want to get a pool atm due to not enough contracters and products not anyone fault just how thing are atm. Really happy with our pool

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! At first they are very helpful and responsive but once they have you locked into a contract they will leave you high and dry (literally). We've been waiting for over a year for them to finish our pool. Even with the bad weather in Sydney this year this is unacceptable. Natalie will make all the promises in the world over the phone (when you can actually get her on the phone) but never follows through. We were told that our pool would be finished last summer and then before this Christmas but have now been advised it won't be done until next year, but still have no actual date of completion even though we have paid for the majority of the work. I believe they are now based in the Northern Beaches area rather than Thornleigh. Save yourself the stress and go with someone else.

The Team at Freedom Pool really went out of their way for our pool. Extremely happy with the end product. Even with the rain we have been having, we manage to get it completed on time. Looking forward to this summer! ThanksFreedom Pools to be honest are more than just a Pool builder. all the best.

Never ever use this company ! They have not finished a pool since 2019. They are a disgrace !!!!! Do NOT give them any moneyAnd still there is no response from this company. Lies and more promises that are never honoured. There is rusty bolts sticking out of the concrete. Poor rendering. Leaching. Drummy tiles. Rust stains. Shabby finishes. They never finished and never came back. Did not honour contract and blame sub contractors for everything when they failed to monitor the job properly.Do NOT use this company. They are incompetent liars and thieves.

Just another dreadful business that can’t or won’t communicate. It all starts out fine but then they stop doing what they say they are going to do.We have been trying since September to get the pool finished.They won’t answer texts, emails, phone calls. Utterly unprofessional and o don’t expect them to stay in business.Be aware. Do not use them.

I strong advise anyone against using Freedom Pools. We are 12 months into a project and only a half finished pool. Never turn up when they say they will, rarely contactable and not at all interested in completing the job. Save yourself the money and the heartache.
