My two boys live off The Bread Hounds Classic Sourdough Bread - it is fantastic - tastes great, freezes well and is very reasonable price. I also can't thank the Bread Hound team enough for doing home deliveries during the ISS lock down - so grateful for their great community spirit and delicious bread!

The rye sourdough baguettes here are beyond fabulous: a perfect crust and a bread full of body and texture.I love them with hard goats cheese and tomato but really, they work with anything. Or nothing (sometimes only half makes it home).The savoury tarts are seriously good also, thanks to the delicate crust and very light, unstodgy egg custard. The pumpkin, spinach & ricotta one tastes as good as it looks.

Dec2022: I bought here for the first time and was sorely disappointed. Service was a little curt, but the bread was terrible and undercooked. Won’t return.A Turkish bread, a Ciabatta, a loaf of something, baguettes, a “breakfast scroll” (cinnamon square scroll).Attendant seemed annoyed when I asked what a breakfast scroll was, and also couldn’t describe it.I bought the Turkish bread for fresh prawn sandwiches. Weirdly crumbly but still doughy in the middle. Couldn’t be used. ☹️It was okay toasted.Scroll was low flavour and flaky. Almost like dense panettone consistency.

As locals we buy the Bread Hound breads daily to support our community and their bread is delicious! Their staples like sliced breads and fruit buns are my favourites. During the lockdown and home quarantine, the Bread Hound came through with same day deliveries for locals which is much appreciated. We can't wait to be back in store soon! Thank you guys!

Decent bakery with a good variety. Quite popular amongst the locals. Had 4-5 groups of people entering when I was there at 3pm.

We are on home quarantine, and The Bread Hound came to the rescue with some fresh bread and treats for the kids. Lovely staff, so kind and understanding. Our phone order was delivered quickly. Thank you for offering such a great service.

I’ve been here a few times and the food never tastes fresh and has a hard texture like it’s been prepared days prior. I got an apple turnover today and pulled out something that looked like a piece of plastic or hair from the pastry. Would not recommend as the hygiene standards seen questionable.
