Have been here many times over the last three years when we got our own boat. Where else can you pull up your boat for free, walk up the sand (there is also a jetty), go into a cafe with wet sandy feet, and order delicious food, hot drinks, other drinks, alcohol. Anytime of year is an idyllic getaway for the day.The people who run this place do a sterling job, and the chef is excellent. The food is always generous for the $ you pay.If you don't have a boat, there is a regular ferry.The weekends in summer are always busy, so expect to have to wait for food and barista drinks. Order early.If you haven't been, hop on over for a day trip and you can also stroll over to the beach.

Nice staff, good drinks and a view of nature while you sit down. Thye standout for us was the food, literally better seafood and breakfast than most places back on the mainland. Was a great retreat from the camp site.

Tipplers is a restaurant with a kids play area on the beach. It's only an area on the island. The area has both inside and outside eating areas. Outside area has a combination of both benches under trees and tables on patio. The restaurant gets busy, so please be patient. Food orders take a while. Take out orders can also be arranged. The venue is licensed. Beach and Pub vibes. Venue is on the west side of the island, so conditions are moderate to calm. Take caps and sunblock. No need for beach shelter. Tipplers does have a ferry which leaves from Jacobs Well. Please check website for bookings. It leaves 08h30 and returns around 16h00 on the same day.

Overall a good experience. The food on this occasion took 50 mins to arrive for a bowl of chips and a Thai salad so that we the only let down. They were very busy on a day of great weather, but they really should be prepared for that when you're paying top dollar to eat out these days. Once for arrived the salad with chicken was actually very tasty.

Considering it's isolated location it's convenient to have something out there in the middle of nowhere, which is why the pricing is so high for what you get but that's okay.During holidays it was crazy wait times. +45mins in the line to order food, then 45mins for the food to come out.Meals were good. Seating was all taken in and around the building, so some people were constantly walking around looking for somewhere to sit/eat.We had two meals come out and asked the staff about the third one and it took another 15mins, so we had finished and one of us hadn't eaten, so we then had to wait even longer for them to finish without feeling rushed.

A great spot but so busy and a bit rough around the edges, feels like it needs a little bit of love and care - would hate to see it on a really busy and stinking hot weekend. That being said it's great for rocking up on your boat or jet ski and just chilling out. And lots of space to be fair

Always so relaxing. Beautiful location. Quiet, relaxing and inviting. You feel like you’re a thousand kms away from the rat race. Food is basic but good. There’s usually a friendly dragon wandering around keen to greet us waiting for food scraps. The view is stunning .

Great little spot. Visited for the first time with my son on the jet ski. Good selection of drinks and food. Prices are reasonable. Overall a nice hangout location for a meal and drinks. Will be back again.
