We keep coming back to this great establishment.Very friendly & welcoming staff at the Durham Castle Arms @ KingstonWe went there for Lunch & on the strength of that we then did dinner there on 2 seperate occasions.Seating is great as you have the choice of indoor or outdoor dining.Their menu is great as it also caters for Vegetarians & Pescatarians!We had a great time there.It seems to have the patronage of a good cross section of people ranging from young professionals to the young at heart. Very safe place to go to.Thank you for great food, beer, wine & great ambience. The inside is like some of the real pubs you would encounter in the UK.Highly recommend the Durham to all.We look forward to going back there.

A nice pub. We got a great table. The beer and the Porterhouse Steak was tasty. The burger meal where slim.Trivia night ok but we did not participate.All the best to the workers. It appears to be busy joint.

I am so disappointed. This used to be one of my favourite weekly places to eat. Rare steak, when I asked for medium rare, overcooked prawns and rock hard chips.When I said I couldn’t eat it like that they sent out another the same and rudely put it on my table. This place used to be so good!

Cool pub! Felt authentic though it's been years since I was last in the UK, great food and lovely service. We had the steak sandwich which was huge, kids had the fish and nuggets - all really nice.

The Durham Castle Arms
This place is everything that I wanted it to be! The last time I visited the previous owners dropped the ball in alot of areas so I didn’t want to come back but a few of the lads told me of the new owners and thought I’d give it another try. From our visit last night, the place had a new energy, you could tell the staff were passionate about beer! and the family service you long for in this environment. This will definitely be our new local! Cheers guys!

We went there for New Year's Eve and made an advance booking thinking it would be packed. However, the place was mostly empty. Honestly, the food was too overpriced for the quality on offer. The chicken schintzel was quite disappointing. The mushroom sauce was underwhelming and too salty. The coleslaw was clearly prepped ages ago as it was pretty soggy and unappetising.My friend still liked the buffalo wings; I found them pretty average. Ditto for grilled chicken.Having said that, I will note that I was pleasantly surprised when they didn't charge us for the second glass of wine I ordered after I accidentally spilled the first one. That was nice of them (Only giving 3 stars because of this).I liked the rustic decor and I suppose it's a good place for catching up with friends over drinks. But I will not recommend this place if you are looking for a decent place to eat and drink.
