Estimated build time appears to be 3 years at best. Despite what sales pitch estimation says. Very disappointed. Feel sorry for office staff having to deal with frustration as no one can have courtesy of return calls.

Oh my goodness! Someone is telling porkies! I called the window suppliers myself only yesterday as I had not heard anything from you - the supplier told me that they have been trying to contact your 'management team' for the go ahead for weeks on end.Only after posting here and getting CBS involved did your 'management team' finally give them the go ahead yesterday!!!!!Please don't embarrassingly talk about unforeseen circumstances and delays when the supplier advised me that there were no delays on their end, that the windows were sitting waiting ready to go but that your 'management team' did not/would not give them the go ahead with the order.The question is why?????? And had I not called the supplier myself, the windows would still be sitting there waiting for the go ahead from Sarah's!!!As I have said before - as a buyer of a 200k product, be super duper ready to fight for respect, courtesy and what's right.So just like no one from Sarah's has responded to my message here - still no outcome on my windows and septic tank. Are they collapsing? Because surely someone from the 'team' would respond to significant mistakes that are captured on image???? Surely??? So depressing to get CBS involved.Scratches on all my sliding door panels from lying on the site for months on end. Front yard sinking from inadequate backfill and compaction. Have left multiple emails, texts, telephone calls. No one responds. I feel like I've been blocked because surely people wouldn't ignore a client who spends 200k on a product, would they??? Receptionist answers my calls but simply says, so and so isn't available, will pass on the message. I feel for her. No formal grievance policy. Two years still going! Hate to post here but feel it's my only option to get a response and to warn others to be super duper prepared to fight for respect and what's right.

I agree with so many people here that you have to wait so long to have a house built, I am ready to retire and have to stay with friends because rent is so high and I did work out to be able to have a house to live in once I retire. Sarah's can't make excuses about materials or trade people that is just an excuse as I have a friend that is building 3 houses and they will be complete in 9 months from time of demolition to fully built. I would not recommend Sarah Homes to anyone.

Great house design but an absolute painful company to deal with. Communication is terrible. Tradesman ship shows that there’s no building overview. Site supervisor lied to us and we were handed over a non compliant house. They blamed the council but we got a transcript where it showed all of their missteps. Engineering isn’t something you’d expect from a seasoned builder. 7 months since handover and still chasing maintenance. I ignored bad reviews but wish I hadn’t. I follow them up and they just ignore me. We’re not pedantic and happy to accept a few things but with the blanket ignoring, it’s beyond a joke. Please do not build with Sarah Homes unless you have a LOT of extra money or don’t care for the truth. Apprentices on-site without a tradesman, NBN connections where it’s non compliant for install, incorrect slab poured with terrible ‘fix’ up job, flashing on the front of the house bent out of shape and incomplete, chipped slab, architraves have been installed by a 5 year old. The engineering mistake took them 3 attempts to fix it up which took the cake along with the ignoring.

Awful, awful customer service. Laura has literally no people skills. She would be better off working in a correctional facility. Her way of explaining the cost of the house that we looked at was haha

Great display homes and no hard sell from sales consultant

My Partner and I went tooking at display homes today. We arrived at Sarah's at Pooraka and saw 1 home we really really liked... we decided to check the reviews when we got home and became disappointed and very concerned at what we read... it really does pull us back to signing up when we read how many people are upset and angry at the service they receive from this builder... if only we had some guarantee that our experience would be vastly different.

Be warned! They take your money and then don’t deliver. They take on more projects than they can handle but can’t even complete one they started. They are extremely poor communicators and can’t keep their Site Supervisors. Their subcontractors don’t deliver in the time frames they commit to and the quality of their products is inferior. Design changes are poorly thought through. They are greedy and once you sign up their communication and promises start to fail. Don’t use them unless you are prepared to be thoroughly frustrated and disappointed. We totally regret our decision of building with Sarah Homes and have feedback from other people who have used them that they too had major problems and delays long before Covid.

Avoid at all costs.Over reasonable wait timesWe have been in the house for 5 months, house not finished , carport not built , none of the 3 month touch ups done , huge access hole in back of the house cover not made , cracks around ceiling not fixed , nothing fixed from our housing inspection , site left dirty and bins not picked up for 3 months , feature wall incomplete and huge white patch in middle after repairCalled the building supervisor" countless times with no answer and empty promisesSarah homes when you see this I suggest immediate contact or this will go alot furtherActually beyond a jokeThey get your money and then do nothing to finish their mess"

Opened their doors before 11am on Sunday to settle the contract and take care of all options. Definitely a first home owner's dream company. Try them out !
