Disease outbreak amongst the birds. I bought a budgie a few years ago from here. Health was all well for the first few months. Then he was diagnosed with an incurable mega bacteria disease. Years of battle later and he painfully passed away.This disease being highly infectious amongst birds, combined with the fact that all the birds in the room are packed like sardines, all of them will have it running through their bodies.Not to mention the multiple times I've visited, I have seen very sickly and missing-feathered birds sitting outside of the large cages like as if they were cast out into the wild since they became unprofitable.Do not recommend, buy from breeders on Gumtree that raise each bird like their own. They'll be likely better trained as well.

6 of us visited The Bird Place for the first time last week and we were very impressed! Incredibly well kept and clean and the birds all looked really healthy.

We have bought multiple sturdy cages from here. The first during the 2020 Covid saga and the second (an additional sturdy cage for outdoors) recently.Great quality cages. The owner is lovely. Very helpful without being pushy.Great selection. If you are looking for a quality birdcage to last, this place has one of the best selections in Adelaide.
