Horrible bloody service. I spent a whole day trying to speak to someone about my payments. I only got machines I even tried to chat online but that was worse. This shouldn’t be hard work. They don’t obviously don’t care about me. What do I have to do to deal with this. They don’t deserve one star only no stars

Came in today and spoke with Les regarding youth allowance. Turned out to be a very difficult dix but Les was very kind and put in a lot of effort to fix it with a very sweet attitude (even after appearing to be shaken from the attitude of the previous customer- which he handles very well)

After an afternoon on hold (2 hours) on the 22/05/23 I was told I had to drop my documents into my local Centrelink office. Arrived at 4-15pm to be told by the receptionist that I should have come in earlier. Disgusting customer service. Obviously she doesn't want to be there, as I overheard the masked-up security guard say to her Only 1 minute to go.""

I wish I could give 0 or minus stars. The blonde lady at the counter kept on talking over the top of me, I asked her to wait as I was still speaking and this was met with a roll of her eyes and a sigh. I got the impression that she was only waiting for her turn to speak and not actually listening to what I was saying. When asked why my Aussie passport and Vic drivers license was not enough ID she could not give a valid answer. Very unprofessional all round. Two thumbs down.

If I could give 0 stars to this place I would. I went there just to get my mum’s account fixed and they were asking different things thats not related. The lady Virginia was so ignorant and rude, she was being racist to me and especially to my mum. Its sounded like we were speak in different language, even with my Australian partner explaining the issue they were being naive and unhelpful. I feel like most of the staff there need new training and or need to be removed. Lazy staff who need to get their act together.

I will give 0 to the staff, she just asked us to wait until some one call the name. And no one can actually solve the problem. all they can do just ask you waiting and waiting for nothing.

I am very thankful for Les at the front counter who is very professional and polite in many ways and try to help me with my volunteer form application. He even called me to update before busy working hours began that day. I can't thank him enough!! Very responsible and even kept apologizing for the mistake centrelink made but not him.

I have to say that having read other reviews of the Box Hill Centrelink office staff and the very negative media offerings over the past few months about Centrelink generally, I was fully prepared for an unpleasant visit to that office. The reason for going there did involve me in preparing a substantial amount of data to substantiate the application I was making. Despite being certain in my own mind that I had been meticulous in my preparation, there was a lingering feeling that I would be refused or turned away or told that I had to produce more documentation. As it was, the visit I made and the staff I met could not have been better or more helpful. I was in and out within 40 minutes and can only state that it was a very satisfactory occasion. Communication is a two business and if you are pleasant, smiling and civil, those you are meeting with are more likely to reciprocate. When you go there make sure you have all you need. Don't go half-cocked and then get upset because you're told you have incorrect or insufficient documentation or identification. Be prepared!Thanks again to the Centrelink staff.

I wish I can give more stars for a really lovely experience today. There was a friendly greeting at the entrance, speedy assistance at the info desk and then there was Carol who was very lovely and caring towards processing my International Vaccination Certificate.Massive shout out to your team! ❤Thank you!

On the few occasions I've dealt with them I've been treated with courtesy, friendliness & efficiency. I wouldn't enjoy doing their job but they seem to make the best of it. Always so pleasant & helpful. Possibly to do with how we, the public, treat them?
