Lovely, quiet and clean pool surrounded by a gorgeous sandstone structure that makes for beautiful photos. Small rockpools nearby during low tides and cute little crabs wandering about. Small slice of paradise!

This pool would be the most beautiful in Australia if not for its dirty state right now… there are slugs and greenery all along the sides, and long reeds attached to the bottom of the pool that reach the surface, obstructing any effort of swimming. I want to swim at the rock pool of my favourite beach in the world, Pearl Beach, but I’m afraid of the daunting ecosystem that currently occupies it. Who cleans this pool? And when will it be fixed?
