Asked for two padlock keys to be cut. Neither of them worked - will not open the lock. Then asked for a replacement car key; they told me it had a chip in it which would cost over $150. Paid for this and a simple key with no chip for $10. Both keys work to open and start the car - no need for the higher price unit. Wondered how they could copy the chip" so quickly...Stay away from this crowd!"

The key works, was told I can't pay with card ($5.50) and that the limit it $15 (this is not advertised in store). This practice is banned by the ACCC, customers have a right to pay with card if it is offered. Not even the lady across the road at the ezymart has a minimum for a pack of pk gum. A simple sign at the counter informing customers of a percentage surcharge on purchases under a specific amount would be legal and help avoid negative experiences.

We had a lock fitted in December. Recently it went faulty and we were locked out of our house at 7.30am! We called Ajax, they were here by 8am helped us get back in, and then came back later with a replacement for the faulty part without any excuses. A fantastic follow-up service. Thank you for being there when we needed you.

Shop assistant was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my stupid questions. Locksmith was brilliant and worked hard to replace my lock and stop the door from jamming despite the difficulty. I’ve used them a couple of times and they’ve always been great.

I recently had to replace a front door lock (an old Lockwood 001). As a DIY’er, the temptation was to go to Bunnings, but the lock had to be re-keyed to my existing key so I came to Ajax. The advice and help I got here made my job so much easier to do it myself. Job was done in 20 minutes. Thanks guys.
