I had my hair cut and styled in preparation for my wedding today with Chris and wow honestly it was the absolute best haircut I have ever had. Not to mention the wash I had before the cut was so relaxing and thorough, I will never go to another salon again!

The Darlene Hair Lounge definitely lives up to its unanimous 5 star reviews. I booked my first haircut via email and received a prompt reply from Michael (one of the co-owners) within an hour - and on a Sunday night no less (something I didn’t expect). Appointment locked in, the service on the day was friendly and professional. Chris cut my hair and she wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied by asking lots of questions and making sure I was comfortable with her recommendations. A great haircut and exceptional value for $65 (I used to get my haircut at salons charging $170 for a haircut). I would highly recommend Chris, Michael and the team at The Darlene Hair Lounge!

From arriving to leaving, the whole appointment felt like a luxurious pamper thanks to the tea and treats and great service. I'm so happy with my cut and the tips on how to style it. Book in advance!!! I had the best experience here and was lucky enough to be fit in after asking to be put on their wait list in event of a cancellation. Was 100% worth it!The staff were all so lovely, and really professional!I was lucky enough to have Chris cut my hair; i brought references of what I wanted. She helped pick which of the references would best suit my face shape and personality.Not only did she consult me each step of the way, taking her time to shape the cut, she also took time to explain why she did it and what the next step was. I wanted a pixie kind of cut and a blow dry, which took a little longer than anticipated due to my hair type being fine but having lots of it. They were all so great about it, and didn't rush either.I felt super pampered while I waited prior to Chris doing my cut, as they provided me some fresh tea (they offered coffee too), and some wrapped snacks to munch on.I actually don't usually review but I was so happy with my time there, I had to leave a review.Fantastic work Chris, Michael (who was the first to greet me so warmly and who handled my booking experience originally) and the lovely lady who also shampoo'd and massaged my scalp prior to the cut (sorry I didn't catch your name), thank you for making my experience a good one!

Love love loved the experience at Darlene's. Have been trying to find another great hairdresser since leaving one of the top salons in the state after a horrible experience. From start to finish - immaculate service and amazing pricing!
