Nette Abkürzung mit etwas Abenteuer wenn man von der B1 aus Richtung Melbourne nach Känguru Island fahren möchte oder umgekehrt. Die Fähre ist kostenlos aber unbedingt die Öffnungszeiten beachten.

A quick short ride on a ferry to cross the Murray. Basic. Takes about 6 cars at a time.

Ferry was an awesome surprise. We came late and didn't expect it to be running, however the friendly driver let us know on the phone that they run 24/7 365 - and the best part is that it's free! There really isn't much free these days, so if you're looking for a free day out then you can ride the ferry back and forth for as long as your heart desires.

The ferry is man-operated and it says it's open 24 hours and you can ring a bell for service, but I would not recommend coming too late in the day. The ferry is free and is a neat experience! The same highway has a couple of wineries you can stop at as well.

Ferry service is great! Open 24/7 and the operators are always friendly when you’re getting on and off, usually it’s a smile and a wave from them! Appreciate their work so much!(Be nice to these guys, you wouldn’t be able to get across if they weren’t operating it so treat them kindly)Keep up the great work guys!!

Cute ferry, operates 24/7 for free. You wait up to ~20 mins for the ferry, and the trip across is only about 2 mins.
