Dungog Museum
A fascinating look back into the local history of Dungog Shire and surrounds. Very interesting to read through the excellent compilations of district servicemen & women from the armed forces. Features include detailed accounts from the Western Front WWI, with medals and memorabilia. A smaller museum as you'd expect but with helpful local guides, some of whom are published amateur historians. Well worth the small price of entry - limited opening hours (by volunteers) so plan your visit. Told that larger groups can be accomodated by appointment.
