Tried to buy some banana bread on clearance. It was used by the 30th December. This is the 2nd Jan.was reduced to $3.36. So I asked if they can do a better price because of the best before date. They did not sell it to me as they are not allowed to sell products that are out of date. WHY WAS IT ON THE SHELF FOR 3 DAYS AFTER ITS DATE THEN!!!??? sheeeeeeeeeeeshh. Worker on checkout was nice. Also day old bread and milk that was past it’s use by date.Disappointed

Restocking of items irregular meaning items are often unavailable .Coles Newstead opens 1 hour later than larger stores ,opens at 7am, 7 days until 10pmSmaller supermarket, some items found in larger Coles supermarkets aren't available. Staff very friendly and always willing to cheerfully assist if requested.

Moved from St Helens, Tasmania to Launceston & have saved heaps by shopping at Coles all the time with amazing & delightful customer service . Getting $10.00 off also is great, as I use my Flybuys card wherever possible.....
