Wonderful room and hotel. The only issue for us was the location at night. We didn't have a car and it took us an hour to get a taxi to the city as there was nothing open past 9 within walking distance apart from the boat club (which is gorgeous but we had already been there).Will definitely return.

This is a fantastic apartment hotel with everything you could possibly need in your unit - including a washer and dryer. There is ample free parking in the underground garage. The units are spacious and well laid out for a comfortable stay. The wifi is lightning fast and there's a desk - perfect for folks who might be working from home". Carl and Mandy are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lagoon pool is gorgeous with comfortable chairs and is not crowded

Golden Sands Beachfront Resort
Had the best time @ Golden Sands Resort. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, quiet and sparkling clean. We kept extending our stay as we felt like home. The resort has a great pool and an amazing restaurant with delicious food and good coffee.Mandy and Carl are the most wonderful resort managers, so dedicated and genuinely caring, friendly and generous human beings. They made our stay special.We wholeheartedly recommend this place. As for us we are looking forward to our next visit here!

Good price and good location. Restaurants in the area are fantastic. Room was very large for the price. Just keep in mind this is apartment style, not full service hotel. The folks who run the place are very nice. Will stay again.

This was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Rooms were clean spacious and quiet, a great spot right near the beach front and the hosts were so accommodating.

Golden Sands Beachfront Resort
Didn't book a room here but stopped by with my son & his dogs on off chance available for lunch after a wonderful walk along the walkways. Unfortunately beach walk not viable as tide too high but what a treat to find this hidden treasure! My roasted pumpkin, red capsicum & feta salad with balsamic vinegar was sublime! The staff had left overs for the dogs if clients supportive! What a great idea for waste consumption!

Golden Sands Beachfront Resort
We stayed in a top floor king bed apartment and it was perfect. Lovely balcony looking out to the rainforest where we spent our mornings and evenings, complete with our own bbq. Fantastic setting with great coffee and food on site at Hidden @ Yorkeys. The room and grounds of the resort where spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

My husband I unexpectedly needed to stay in Cairns due to an injury I sustained in the area. The new owners were very helpful and did every thing they could to support us and make me feel comfortable while I awaited surgery.The rooms were clean, and well presented. We had 2 different rooms during our stay which were quite different in styling.A pool and tennis court are available for use - if you don't have a broken leg!The resturant on the grounds provided excellent meals and good coffee.Being so close to the beach made our stay very 'tropical and the curlews entertained us on our evening walks.#hahndorfwalkingtours

Golden Sands Beachfront Resort
Exceptionally clean rooms with lots of space both inside and out. Staff were great in communicating with us and even allowed us to check in early. Nice and quiet compared to other Cairns beaches but still close to Smithfield shopping centre. The large pool was great, and even has a tennis court. We only spent 2 nights here but would definitely return for another stay.
