Stars have been deducted as the first order of drinks was forgotten, we had to ask to be served for our lunch order and the final order of drinks arrived as we were about to leave. It wasn't extremely busy but the wait team seemed disorganised. The food was great!!

Relaxed vibe with great food. Our group had 8 people and most of our drinks and meals arrived at the same time. Well priced since the food is unique and delicious.

Quite underwhelming. Apart from location there's not much going on here. Pub food for the price of fine dinning is a bit questionable.

The first time I came here with a friend we were seated and forgetten about. Our waitress went to lunch without putting our order in to the kitchen.12 months later I decided to give it another try.Service is still slow despite the place not being busy on the day I was there.I ordered a wine which never came . I ask a passing waitress to follow it up.The food was ok.The linguine was a lot of oil and pasta and not much else once I scooped the meat out of the Bugs which absolutely didn't taste fresh. No one asked if I wanted another wine or dessert. The setting is great but the service and so so food let this place down.

Overpriced for what you getStopped by for a chill late lunch in the arvo, lucky the oysters were freshly shucked to order so delicious, but still a bit steep at $36 for 6. Cocktails were good but took a while to come, also at least $25 each. Definitely got a look-up-and-down as I asked for a table, which was surprising as obviously most people will have spent the day at the beach, and I had changed/freshened up. I can't help but think that the prices are hiked up just to avoid the backpacker crowd. Overall nice vibe to sit on the balcony, out of the hustle of the main street, but I'd go somewhere else next time. Spanish waitress was lovely

Good place to eat in Byron bay, oysters and prawns were very fresh, wide variety of drinks. Friendly staff and good location, I recommend to make a booking coz it gets very busy.

Lovely food, but service was quite slow. From seating us (we had a reservation), to even getting someone’s attention to take our order, and then our food took about 30 min to arrive- our waitress apologized twice for the delay. We had the flash fried prawns as an entree - so good! I got the spiced chicken which was a bit on the pink side but did taste divine. My partner has the pork which was delicious. Overall tasty food but could improve on service - and it wasn’t even a very busy (Tuesday night, last booking).

Disappointing and that’s a compliment.A lovely place to sit. The food that we received was ok but nothing you can’t get anywhere else in Byron bay.Our waitress had a superiority complex and is clearly destined for greater things than working at the Balcony. We ordered calamari, sourdough, the fried cauliflower and the pea and avocado dip for starters. It came out reasonably quickly. It was hard to order a second drink as all the staff kept avoiding eye contact. After waiting over an hour another waitress came to tell us they were out of burgers and my son and his friend had to choose something else.90 mins we waited a only to be told this. By this stage it’s 9:30 and our options to get anything else were very limited.Regardless we walked out. There are plenty of good options to eat in Byron. Don’t bother paying for a balcony view of Baskin Robbins.

Really beautiful place, eating on the balcony is a must! Love the ambiance and the plants everywhere, it gives it a nice vibe. The food was also very good, we had a bit of everything. The service was amazing, we had a birthday and they were kind to find a sparkler to put on the chocolate mousse.

A beautiful venue that looks over the main street. We attended when they had Drag and Dine, which was great fun. Food and cocktails are expensive but expected being in the middle of the Byron main strip. Seafood was delicious however steak was not great, given the pricing. Staff were friendly and accommodating!
