Been all over Europe and felt we were in France. Excellent European style services. Enjoyed the high tea. food was great. Will definitely come again for dinner and high tea. Beautiful garden & views.

I’ve been to a few weddings in my time, and the venue itself is undeniably beyond belief.Having said that - if I had to compare the service to something that everyone out there would understand…. I’ve quite frankly had better service from the crack head living in the carpark of my local sizzler, 3 years after it closed - and even then - he still served me better quality cheesy toast than this venue would have.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay.Easy to book, a great welcome, beautiful surroundings, and a magnificent master suite. The food was superb, and the service was excellent.Highly recommended as a place to celebrate a special event with a weekend away. Thank you, Dalton, Lauchie, Lucy and Ludy. You all helped make this a wonderful weekend.

I recently had the opportunity to wedding coordinate at this venue.Firstly the space & gardens are just devine, this building has so much character and is well mangaged.Secondly the staff were amazing and so professional to work with.The flow of the day into the evening was seamless and the food/service was fantastic.The accomadation rooms are beautifully styled and designed & spacious.I will continue to recommend this space for future weddings

I hosted a group of my best friends for High Tea yesterday at CPH and was just thrilled with the afternoon in every way. We chose the all inclusive package and it lived up to its name of Free Flowing" because it most certainly was the most excellent value! The food was a delicious selection of savoury and sweet

Took Mum here after a long 2 year wait for a birthday high tea. The house is amazing, beautiful furnishings and the room was stunning. Unfortunately it was very cold and being Winter, we couldn't understand why the magnificent open fire in the room was not being used. The sandwiches were very nice but unfortunately the scones were extremely flat, dry and not enjoyable. The service we received however was very good.  My Mum was happy to finally have her experience and enjoyed it overall however I don't think we will return for another High Tea.

My wife's colleague's wedding was held on this beautiful estate. It was a beautiful place, like a scene from a movie, with a big river at the back of the estate and big lawns covering the front yard.There were two wedding venues, one by the river and the other by a windbreak built by trees. It was still cold in October in Melbourne and the wedding was held in the tree walled auditorium.The building is very retro, with a cigar room, billiard room, lounge, ballroom and dining room. Very well equipped.It was a very atmospheric place, very dreamy, very beautiful, and my shallow knowledge made me think it looked like an American Southern manor house.I hope we can go back again sometime.

We had our wedding at CPH in March 2023. It was absolutely magical. We had the most amazing few days. The property was incredible, the staff absolutely lovely and the food and service couldn't be faulted.We can't wait to go back for our anniversary

Went for high tea and I wouldn’t recommend. Food was really poor quantity even though it was expensive, house is pretty at a surface level but when looking closely it’s in pretty bad shape and the attention to detail isn’t really there.The service was horrendous, we were ignored for the most part (to the point where we couldn’t even get a glass of water) but they rudely asked me to pay while I was on the way to the bathroom and the remainder of the party hadn’t left the table, because that was the most important thing to them. We ventured a few meters away from the high tea area to have a look at the view and we’re quickly told we couldn’t be in that space as it was for hotel guests only. The arrogance of the prestige has evidently resulted in lazy, low level service. In reading some of the other comments, I’m anticipating the owner will respond with a gaslighting style paragraph about how nothing was mentioned at the time and therefore, they aren’t required to take accountability for the sloppiness. Don’t bother with it, very disappointing experience.
