We have been getting awesome quality charcoal chicken from here for the last 10 years. However, I went here tonight and noticed it has changed ownership!!! We got the usual whole chicken, chips and mushroom salad. I asked for a whole chicken and when I got home I had a bag full of dry chicken pieces!!!! Not a whole bird. The chips tasted like they were fried in old oil and the mushroom salad has changed. It was very salty and the garlic was very strong. My family loved this place, I really hope they get the cooking and recipes back on track. Service was good.Went here again tonight and the chicken and chips was better quality. Keep perfecting the original recipe. Hopefully it gets back to same quality.

We recently held an event in Gosford and had to cater for 150 people. We had a huge order, which the chicken shop offered to deliver to us on a Saturday night. A team of 4 staff delivered the food, which arrived piping hot at the time that we asked for, and they also stayed around to help unwrap everything to get service ready. The chicken was absolutely delicious, and we loved the potato bake and pumpkin especially! Lots of positive feedback from our many guests and plenty of people wanted to take home the leftovers. The gravy is A1! Thanks so much guys for your incredible efforts, we really look forward to ordering from you again soon.

Best charcoal chicken in East Gosford, highly recommend this for your events and a regular family get together specially if you don’t have enough time to cook for your family, a goodnight rest from the kitchen for a change, and there’s a variety of salads that you can choose from, friendly staff and affordable.

What happened???? Have they changed hands? We've been buying from here for a while but the last few meals have not been very nice.We used to make a trip to get these chips and chicken despite the fact we have a good take away a few minutes away as the trip made it worth it but the last few meals have not been great so have unfortunately ended up in the bin.Not sure what has happened, so sad to see an all time favourite end up like this. Hopefully with time the food quality goes back to what it used to be.

The charcoal chicken was so good and fresh healthy salads. Enjoyed my dinner. Service was really good and so was food.Thank you to the team for the yummy chips, salad and chicken. And there chicken wings and wedges are also best.

They need to learn how to clean better. I got 2 b&egg rolls and some chips n gravy and it had beetroot taste in it. There was bit's of burnt beef patty all through it and the chips was half cooked. I suggest not eating there

One of the best organic charcoal chicken I have ever had. Young girls were really wonderful at their service and I found new owners really welcoming to the customer and their new salad is amazing which is organic and healthy.I will definitely come back to this place and bring my friends here for take away.Cheers!!!!Keep Shining
