Koonwarra Family Holiday Park

My friends and I had an absolutely lovely stay at Koonwarra family holiday park over the weekend.We booked our cabins at the last minute on the day of check in. Monica and Bill were very accommodating. They recommended and showed us the available cabins that would suit our group. The cabins were in a perfect configuration for group bookings. We especially liked some of the bunk beds actually have a double bed at the bottom which is very practical. The cabins are clean and spacious in comparison to other parks.They also have a very competitive rate for their cabins. We think Koonwarra holiday park has the best value in Lakes Entrance.Thank you once again Monica and Bill for being accommodating and flexible.

Lovely .. just lovely. Just head out and you will find a nice walking track, very close to the city centre - and to the Esplanade bridge to reach the Main beach. A shout-out to the hosts, who warmly welcomed us even though our scheduled arrival was after the check-in time. Thank you for your hospitality - recommend staying with them for a wonderful experience.

The lady at the front desk was lovely! There is a games room, playground and pool here. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable, the room was clean and the hot water was a good temperature.

Stayed there for 2 nights the one we where booked into had ants, So went and seen the manager about it she moved us to a up stairs room it was dirty and didn't small clean at all very disappointed after the money we paid got up the next morning and found bugs in the room we differently will not be back.

Yes, it’s dated, but it’s spotlessly clean, the bed is comfortable, the hot water is hot, the heater works well in the middle of winter and the staff are super friendly and helpful. My budget cabin was excellent value for money. I always book direct with them as they give the best rate and they don’t have to pay fees to the booking agencies

Had a great stay here. The cabin was very comfortable and had all the kitchen and bathroom accessories you'd expect. Very clean, and good air conditioning. The office staff are really friendly, helpful and informative on local activities. The price is extremely reasonable. Looking forward to staying there again

Bit rundown, feels crowded, lots of bitumen, old cabin with tiny kitchen lounge area but big bedroom. Great pool though.

What a dump. Everything is worn out, dirty and uninviting. The toilet in our cabin had skid marks on the bowl despite the paper sash saying it had been hygienicly cleaned for our protection. Grease dripping from cooker, food remnants on crockery and cutlery and a fair old accumulation of dirt, hair and dead skin behind the sofa combined to make us both sick. Went home early certain to check reviews in future before booking so we never end up in a hole like this again.
