John and his team at Harcourts Boronia were fantastic when it came to selling my deceased fathers home. It sold within 2 weeks and for more than i expected. Through out the whole process they kept me informed and listened to what i wanted in terms of marketing and other matters. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional sales team. I rented a property through Harcourts Boronia for roughly 3 and a half years , the team were always a pleasure to deal with , any repairs or maintenance was taken care of as fast as humanly possible and was always high quality.I personally deal with rental exit cleans as a living and they were very happy with the work i did , no issues at all on bond return.I would like to take a special shout out to Barbara , Stephanie and the manager as they were always such a pleasure to talk to and deal withand were always quick to reply to any queries or requests i had.5 stars to you ladies and gentlemen. Can't think of enough great things to say about Harcourts Boronia. I bought my first house through this branch, and re-sold my house several years later with them again. I did all my research and met with many local agents, but choosing Harcourts was the easiest decision we made when it came to deciding to sell our home. No hard sell, no false promises and no embellished appraisals . John and the team were in constant contact while the house was on the market and have continued to give us advise about buying our next home even though they are were not the agents. DO NOT TRUST THEM!They knew that there is a big mould problem with the property and still they rent it to me. And now I'm leaving in a sharing room because they don't want to pay for their fault.After I paid 3 months in advance for a 2 bedrooms home and signed the agreement they told that I just can use one of the bedroom because it has problem and after 3 months it's getting worse everyday.  I'm going to publish all photos and evidence that shows they knew about the problem.This morning I had a called from Jan one of their staff, he told that I should delete the review and after that he accused me .Because of this I'm standing until the end of this.

My house was being rented in Boronia and Harcourts Boronia were managing the property through property manager David Woolfall.During this time the property was managed well, communication was good and I felt confident with the Harcourts team.When it came time to sell, John Garnett, managing director of Harcourts Boronia produced an initial offer of 2% plus advertising fees advising me this was a special price".Upon vetting other agents I received an offer by a reputable and well known agency that was less that 1.5%.I still wanted Harcourts boronia to sell my home but John was incredibly hesitant in matching any offer.The other agent then called and lowered their offer again- after I told them I was asking Harcourts if they wanted to counter offer. I told John that this offer was too good to pass up and that I felt that because this agency was chasing my business so hard then they deserved it.I told John I would not be selling through Harcourts. On the spot John became incredibly petulant. Informing me that it was not worth them managing my property any longer and that I was to pick up the file or arrange to have the file picked up in two business days.Incredibly unprofessional. The agent I sold through apologized for this unprofessional behavior and had the file picked up so that they could manage the property throughout the sale process.From what I read into this Harcourts thought that because they already managed the property that it was a Fait Accompli that they would sell it and John Garnett dropped the ball when he procrastinated and had the chance to make a competitive offer.The price difference between using the two agents would have been $4450. That's an extra $4450 in my pocket. I got too dollar for the house too."
