King of Knives (This location is an office only)

I bought a mortar and pestle worth $ 65 from this shop, and the pestle was broken after one week while I was using it. I only used it twice. I went there to talk to them and showed them the broken pestle. When we went there to buy it, they were so polite, friendly and very helpful. But when I went back with the broken pestle, they turned quite rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. Although I did not have my bill with me, I knew the exact date and time. And I could provide them the payment proof through the bank app. They didn’t even bother to take a look at their system to trace the sale and told me they cant do anything about it since I didn’t have the bill.We have bought many things from them and never went back asking for refund or wanting to return stuff. It is fine if they didn’t want to replace it with a new one or give me the money back. At least some respect and listening to a regular customer would have been sufficient.I would never go to this place even if that is the last place standing.

I must be one of the lucky ones compared to all the negative reviews. But then again, I didn’t buy any knives, just other kitchen products. The staff seemed friendly and helpful to me.

If all the store are closing down how are supposed to keep buying there awesome products???

I purchased a product from there, took it home , undid all of the packaging, threw packing ( plastic ) out and assembled it. Unfortunately, it did not fit the purpose that I needed it for. I contacted the shop and after some discussions between me, staff and distributor , I am very pleased to say that, today the issue has been resolved and I am very happy with the result. A big Thankyou to the young male staff member and all others at the store. I shall be back .

Absolutely gutted! will never get my knives sharpened here again! Amateur knife sharpening service, should be banned from sharpening knives! I handed in 2 knives, a USA Gerber and a Bowie. both excellent quality knives and factory sharp so i wanted Razor Sharp". When i received them back the first time the knives were duller than before

I don't know what the other reviews are on about. The guy I went to today (3 weeks in a row buying from there) was so nice and gave me a hefty discount. Bought a good deal of knives from there from restaurant quality Brasilia knives to Spyderco. They were really nice to me. Was good. I like shop, gonna keep going to fuel my hobby/addiction to shiny things.

Don't expect quality service. Not rude, just don't know how to tend to customers promptly. Don't know their product. You'd think they would know about the quality of steel in their knives... not simply it's good quality". Took half hour to find the product in the cupboard. More of an outlet where you go to pick up things you have already researched at a that'll-have-to-do price. If I had more time I would have gone elsewhere.For a shop that supposedly specialises in knives

Avoid! Once upon a lifetime this franchise was operated by people with integrity and expertise. Management changed approximately three years ago hence the downhill spiral! Guestimating I've spent approximately $5,000 with this store purchasing originally entry level Global knives, blocks, sharpeners then elevating to superior Japanese knives and their more expensive accessories, Epicurian chopping boards in every shape and colour, oven mits, kitchen utensils, pans et al Latest purchase two gaudy Christmas wooden cooking spoons and a freezer carry bag. Returning to my home, both wooden cooking spoons were cracked, from top to bottom therefore unusable because as any home cook or chef acknowledges, cracks in wooden utensils deems them unusable due to their ability to absorb food material which ultimately becomes bacteria. Staff seem more concerned about who might be stealing some cheap item from their front of store display than a return high-spending customer. I'm online from herein.

My family member went here to buy two water bottles earlier this week. They didn't fit our requirements and she went there the next day to return them. The manager was rude, did not listen to her and said that she was playing games. Do not give this franchise your business. 0 rating.

The boss/manager was really rude to their helpful staff member and interjected and humiliated them. As soon as he did that, I looked for the product online. The staff member doesn’t deserve to be treated so rudely.
