more kids than they can handle. they couldn’t find my child at school for ASC, didn’t bother calling me for 25 minutes while she was nowhere to be found and then refused to go and look for her, and didn’t alert the school that they couldn’t find her. then they wanted to argue with me on the phone about nothing instead of figuring out where my kid was .. i had to get other children and the school office staff to search for her. then, they didn’t answer the phone at all when i tried to call to tell them that she had been found. now they are purposely delaying the return of my holding deposit because they don’t like the attitude i gave them, and i have to take them to small claims court over it.i have also been told by my child and other parents that i know that they don’t help the smaller children get their car seat belts on in the bus, and rely on the other children to do it for each other. they briefly left my friends 5yo old daughter on the bus by accident because she couldn’t get her belt off by herself. once i went to collect my child in the afternoon and one of the staff yelled to my daughter to “say bye to her boyfriend” (referring to another child). my child has been pushed off a chair twice and my friends child has been kicked several times, and they do nothing about bullying. no incident reports. another parent i know has had a few conversations with them about super inappropriate things her daughter has heard, and she was told by gullivers “well kids are going to talk about that stuff”.

I arrived to Gullivers after 9 weeks of lessons at a competitor where I wasn’t able to get my 2 year old into the water. Speaking to Lara, she was professional and compassionate, understanding the frustrations and concern with a child with fear of the water. Upon her recommendation, we had a private session with Coach Kelly who had my daughter jumping into the water and swimming and laughing happily by the end of the session. Our eldest daughter attended the intensive swimming week with Coach Zac and after a week, went from minimal understanding of stroke technique to using her big arms and breathing and what looked like a perfect backstroke the length of the pool.We could not be more grateful to Gullivers for their support and professionalism in helping our girls extend their swimming confidence and ability.

The team at Gullivers Coomera have been so accommodating and patient with our son (6 yrs). When he first attended about 4 months ago, he really struggled with having water on his face. He now loves putting his head under water and has progressed so much with his confidence in the water. All of our questions and any concerns we’ve had have always been answered and explained well by the team.Definitely a great place for kids who struggle with water confidence.

So far our favourite teacher is Mona - she's encouraged the kids and have built up their confidence up so much. She is great with the kids and they absolutely love her.

Absolutely appalling place. My daughter had her swimming lesson this afternoon. She arrived early. A very rude Staff member approached us right on swim start time to state that we need to rectify account before she jumps into pool. Explained that I have direct debit and that there is no issues, they argued that they tried to send me an email that I needed to pay? Received no emails. Explained direct debit is all set up and I’ve never had issues, confirmed same with bank. Meanwhile my daughter is freezing and not allowed into the pool. They stated that I would be paying for this lesson today even know that she did not participate because they were to concerned about collecting there funds which was a default at there end. My observations since my daughter started recently is that this place is not for the child’s best interest. Overcrowding and overrun. Staff are very rude. This place is all based on money. My daughter spent half the time at the end of the pool with no supervision, teacher had back turned on her. I had to go sit by the pool to make sure I could keep visuals on her 24/7 since the teacher was very distracted. Will not be sending my daughter back. I will be continuing further with this complaint. Reading other reviews just reiterates why I’ve made a wise decision. I rectified my account and they said they wouldn’t allow my daughter back in the lesson as it’s at full capacity??? She is booked in permanently for that day. Very corrupt place. Don’t send your kids there.

I’ve had my 4 children learn to swim at Gullivers since being 6 months old. We swam all year round as it is so nice in winter being indoors. I’ve been at the swim school for 14 years and wouldn’t have them learn to swim anywhere else. All the coaches have been excellent over the years. They are professional, apply a constant variety of strategies to get the best out of the various personalities my children presented over the years and have motivated them endlessly to swim to the best of their ability. My second daughter now swims for state as a result of this!! Can’t recommend them enough x

So grateful to be with Gullivers Coomera! We hit a very rocky patch, where Linc (aged 2) did not want a bar of swimming lessons, after doing really well for a while. The staff at Gullivers were nothing short of amazing. They offered valued advice and support and gave options to help us push through. Now Linc loves his swimming lessons. He’s completing each lesson and doesn’t want them to end. He’s even now completing activities that he has flat out refused to do from day 1, even on the very best of days.Thank you to Miss Donna, and all the lovely staff at Gullivers Coomera. I’m so glad you encouraged us not to give up.

I cannot speak more highly about this swim school! The skills that are taught at Gullivers are superior to any other competitors, my daughter has gained so much confidence in the water since beginning at Gullivers and loves her lessons with Donna each week.If you are looking for a place to send your kids to learn how to swim, look no further as this is the place you will want to book.
