I'm delighted to be given the opportunity to comment on the publication of the fifth (and greatly enlarged) edition of our book, 'The Heritage of Hunters Hill' (2019). The previous (2002) edition contained photos and brief descriptions of a representative compilation of significant buildings constructed before 1900. Our task was to review the previous edition and extend it into the early 20th Century.By means of several meetings (and many emails), David devised a new layout for the extended data (both old and new images and text), prepared drafts through several iterations, prepared the final document, helped select a printer, and managed to meet a Christmas deadline for our launch.Throughout the project I found great pleasure in dealing with David, and highly respect his recommendations.
