Lovely place. Nice food. Staff seemed preoccupied when we went.This next comment is not sour grapes but a genuine concern. I have approached them to provide entertainment for their events. I was told that I'm not their thing. I'm slightly confused as to what this could mean when I have nothing but wonderful feedback from every venue I provide entertainment. I don't do country and I don't play an instrument when I perform. I have a reportoire of over 900 songs coveringost genres. I have so many people saying have you approached Bunya cafe? You'd be perfect for there". Maybe it's that I charge industry rates. Who knows. We will still support them and go there to eat when in the area."

Friendly staff, and great food. Unfortunately we arrived at a busy time and waited 45 minutes for our lunch.

Arrived at 11:30 on a week day during schools holidays, not too busy. Good nice country quality food and coffee done well. Easy on street parking, plus has a licensed bistro, bar and garden area. Friendly staff

Such a cute cafe... you would never know how unusual the dining area is inside from the outside. We only had cold drinks. Coffee frappe was great. Chips were covered in chicken salt and super crispy! Definitely worth dropping in to grab a drink or snack on your way through town.

Love it here. The Scrubby Creek Bar is decked out really nicely with lots of vintage charm. Staff our friendly and food was great. This place will become a regular stop for us.

Easy to find, plentiful street parking, open for breakfast, lots of indoor/outdoor seating, a good variety of food and drinks.Wait of approx. 42 minutes for food which consisted of a breakfast burger and fries, with only two other waiting customers. Coffees were a short wait (received before the hot box food), whilst hot box food was approx 7 minutes (for reheating out the back). Unfortunately their $5 fries describe by the cashier as two good handfuls" was lacklustre in size... was however salted perfectly.N.B. they do have a sign out when Public Holiday surcharge (10%) is applicable."
