Murwillumbah Motor Wreckers

My dad ordered 2x parts for my car. He asked them to make sure the white door handle was not scratched.And he also ordered a rear wiper arm.When I went to collect the door handle was all marked and scratched so I told the man I didn’t want it as it was all scratched and marked and my dad was very specific when he asked for a non scratched one.I said I’d just get the wiper arm and the man wanted to charge me $75. ( For $14 more I was able to get a brand new wiper arm.) My dad said it was going to cost $135 for both so I asked how much he was going to charge for the 2 parts an it was going to be way more. I said don’t worry about it then and walked out. The man who I dealt with I found unpleasant to deal with and as a result from this experience I will use another wreckers In the future.Also the guard dog that was behind the counter was very intimidating and I felt scared as I had my young son with me and it was standing at the gate to the side of the counter.

I ordered boot and bonnet struts for my car. I was stoked with the speed my order came in. When I picked my order up it was wrapped in bubble wrap and I questioned if the order was correct.Silly me. I should have unwrapped my order there and then. I didn't.I got home and opened my order to find bonnet struts and bonnet brackets. Not what I ordered or paid for.I returned the order to the same staff member, who I got my order from. He realized the error. Which he made. He then told me they had just got the same model car in. He retrieved the parts I was after.Trouble is, the parts I got are worse than those I was replacing. Again, SILLY ME.So, I decided to investigate NEW struts. SMART ME.I bought brand new struts, that work, for a grand total of $10 more than what I paid for faulty second hand parts from Mur'bah wreckers.I will, reluctantly, use these wreckers again. But I will be opening and inspecting any thing I buy from them.I WILL BE HESITANT TO RECCOMEND THEM.

Needed a new spare for my Prius. The boys ordered me one in. When I got there we found my car had non-standard wheels. The boys went out of their way to find me a wheel that would fit. Same price as quoted for the wheel they ordered in.Great service!!!

These guys are GOOD.... REAL good! They sourced a part for a Toyota IMPORT that was proving elusive. And CHEAP? .... REAL cheap (and that INCLUDED delivery!)
