Underwater camera equipment can be extremely complex to understand and somewhat daunting trying to work out what is the best configuration. The owner of Macro Mode, Ken Thongpila not only knows what is required but has a clear passion for helping lesser experienced photographers get their setup perfect. He freely invites any and all questions and goes beyond that which is expected to achieve your goals.If I could give ten stars I would, for now it'll just have to be 5.No matter what your level of experience with underwater cameras, you can't go wrong with gaining Ken's insight and help.

My husband and I have been purchasing photography equipment from Ken for several years now. I came in originally to get a strobe and macro lens for my husband, as a newbie at the time I had no idea! Ken was so patient and explained the pro's and con's of every model to us. When we were first learning Ken would assist by critiquing our pictures and offering us advice on how to improve. Since then we have added several pieces to our rigs and I am so pleased with every pice of equipment offered. I have not yet seen anywhere else in Sydney with the same level of knowledge and care as Ken - I recommend macro mode to all my diver friends looking to get into photography. Since the first trip to macro mode, we have not shopped anywhere else.

Wanted to add another lens to stack on an Inon +6; after great consultation on what I was trying to photograph, in what conditions and the rig I had - which Ken was familiar with as he sold most of it - he suggested the Weefine +13 as my best option and included shipment in an already good price. I would recommend Macro Mode to anyone looking for great service, great knowledge, and someone who just plain shares the passion.
