I haven't caught any Barra this year until today. I explained the area I wanted to fish and I was recommended a Reidy's Rubber swim bait. 2nd cast, 70 cm Landed. Friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent old school service and local knowledge.Not your standard big box store experience. You can tell the owner actually cares.It does get busy, so you may have to wait 5 to 10 minutes on occasions.

I was up in Ayr for a month and every single time I went to the shop I was met by friendly faces and locals who knew what they were talking about. Everybody was more than happy to answer any questions that I had and give recommendations on places to wet a line as well as what lures, soft plastics and baits to use. A big thanks to everyone who worked there as they made my time in Ayr much more successful had I just been doing it myself. A big shout out to Shaun who was gracious enough to take me out on his boat a couple of times and help me get that magic meter Barra.
